Rush, Angels and Demons, The Dark Knight Rises, The Da Vinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean, Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk, I could go on and on and list over 100 movies the guy has worked on. I'm not a huge fan of all the movies he's worked on, but the sheer amount of stuff he's done and the amazing quality of it all is absolutely astounding. Man's a legend.
Came here after hearing Hans Zimmer is scoring No Time To Die. And if it sounds anything like this piece, we will have the baddest Bond score in recent memory.
My local theater re released this In IMAX a week ago and it was soooo amazing! I didn’t get to see it on the big screen 10 years ago, wasn’t too interested. The music is gold
If you take the time to just watch a couple videos about how this scene was made (you can find some on UA-cam) you’ll be mind blown. Nolan and Zimmer are GENIUSES!!!
You don’t see risky movies that much anymore. Making a high budget movie with an original idea (and isn’t affiliated with a franchise or the superhero genre) is a lot more rare today. Today, such concepts are considered to be “risky” as the possibility of the movie being a flop is higher (because general audiences aren’t familiar with the new idea like they are with other popular franchises). Inception ended up being a big success (critical and financially) and was the the 4th highest grossing movie of 2010 :)
Christopher Nolan had already proven himself a hit maker with The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, so the studios were comfortable taking that risk with him. They wouldn't have given 100 million dollars to some nobody
@@smithsj227 oh of course but in general, the difference is the Batman brand is a humongous superhero brand. Making a Batman movie (no matter how good it is) is a lot less risky than making a movie like Inception.
Hey guys what ur top 10 mine is as following 1. shawshanks2. Inception3. Usual suspects4. back to the future5. Matrix6. Blade runner 7. The prestige. 8. Fight club9. Terminator10. Edge of tomorrow.
the other reply is kinda right. "Don't think about elephants" is the commercially released version. The actual movie version (from the same album as this video itself) is called "It's a trap".
The music that plays during the countdown to the potential moment Marvel Comics retcons Ms. Marvel into being a mutant and/or replaces her current powerset with her MCU hard light powers: UPDATE: Ms. Marvel is, indeed, becoming a mutant in the comics, which I don't mind (as long as they explain how she survived the Terrigen mist), but she's also confirmed to be keeping her current powerset, though probably not forever.
This song describes the major battle that happened in the spirit world, between God's angels & Satan's demons, that was just before Jesus was born in Bethlehem a long time ago. Because Satan really did not want JESUS to be born when his Earth mother Mary was pregnant with baby Jesus. But it did succeed with him being born, Amen! I'm a Christian by the way. Protestant & believer in Christ. Have a wonderful day to whoever's reading this.
I'm not a fan of Zimmer; to my ears, the man simply cannot write eloquent or intelligent music. But he's unquestionably a master of tone, and his work for Inception - especially this piece - flawlessly amplifies the sense that _something isn't quite right._
If there was no music during this scene it wouldn’t have been as great as it was,
Yup but Nolan plans scene according to music
Music is important in film. It always has been, before there was dialogue in film, we had music playing with the visuals.
background music not really background in this absolute movie!
I agree
No that’s just wrong
I was literally humming this all day

Blade Runner 2049 blows all those away.
The Lion King
@@sweetbabyrodney exactly, that leitmotif from Stampede to die for is exactly what zimmer reused, I don't know why it's awesome though.

Yes, he's the music director of No Time To Die, let's hope for the best.

Hans Zimmer needs to write a score for the end of mankind, and seal it away.
1:32 for me.
