Odette is a bold choice for someone so young. I'm reminded of another competitor at Varna a few years back (and at Moscow too, but I don't know if she did Odette there but I know she brought Giselle). I still think SooBin felt more mature and ready to carry such a heavy role, but the raw talent and the softness of her hands Kuznetsova shows here is remarkable. I'm excited to see the other pieces she brought to Moscow because she definitely is a talent.

Tempo too slow. Go for it. I think it hindered the performance. Too cautious.

Lovely dancer but the tempo of this piece is funereal. Tchaikovsky would roll over in his grave.

kabardinka, а мне наоборот, очень понравился неспешный темп. Она не демонстрирует прекрасную технику, не суетится, а переживает эмоции, заложенные в роли. Мне тоже сначала показалось, что очень медленно, но потом стало ясно почему.
