"There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes". My all time favorite quote.
Mine too!
I'm personally more partial to "I'm going to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" and "would you like a jelly baby?"

the real question is what gender are the daleks
Fun fact: the Angels are actually inspired by a statue Steven Moffat saw in a grave yard. When he returned later, it was gone, with no record of its existence.
Wwwwaaaaaaaa
Did you see that angel on screen for a fraction of a second at 5:28? It went on the left side then the right side then vanished.
I'm never going to a graveyard again
Oh my god. They do exist!
Facts
The Doctor doesn’t look human, Humans look time lord
Yeh - they came first !
What?
Time lordians , haha
So true I remember they said that in actual episode
@@cerysmorgan5810 It is a actual quote, by the eleventh or tenth doctor...
David Tennant IS technically the eleventh doctor because of the war doctor. but he also regenerated that one time in the episode doomsday and had the same actor. he may look the same, but he used up a regeneration, so he is also the twelfth. therefore Matt Smith is actually the thirteenth while simultaneously technically being the eleventh. basically it's like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.
actually it was the episode The Stolen Earth in Series 4. Doomsday was the end of series 2
he called the war Dr he not the doctor.
This is an old comment but the regeneration that 10 put into his hand didn’t actually count because he just used the energy to heal himself. So basically the regeneration didn’t actually finish making that regeneration not count.
@@michaelingleson3062 The War Doctor counts as a Doctor. The Doctor just doesn't like to accept it.

im really supprised they havent done anything at all with the doctors daughter
UndertaleSkeleBros that would be awesome, although unfortunately most of the classic era ones are getting a bit too old (or a bit too dead, too soon?) to play the role anymore, and some of the new who actors don't want to be associated with only that role, it would be fantastic though!
if you mean the one from the episode "the doctor's daughter", sadly I'm pretty sure Moffatt said she crashed into a moon. :(
Because she was an awful forgettable character in an awful forgettable episode.
That and she's not actually the Doctor's daughter and was just a title to make you watch it.
Yeti yeti she was the doctors daughter, she had the doctors dna
and no she isnt a forgettable character and the episode she appeared in was amazing

_laura.xox_ and some I could even improve, for example that question on how many people have played the Doctor, I once made a flowchart of all versions of the Doctor (parallel universe versions, clones, etc), and I counted over 100 Doctors! Although a large amount of them are from the comic and novel section of the EU (Expanded Universe), so they don't have actors, but that's only about about half of them so I guess there have been about 50 actors/voice actors of the Doctor.
thanks for letting me know.
When you said fantastic at the end I cried a small tear drop. Sounded so much like 9th...
10:53 apparently Moffat passed a grave yard with an angel statue sobbing.
Later passed in front and it was gone, he interrogated the keeper and others but nobody remembered it...
Not sure if this is mentioned in the video because I have only just started watching but David Tennant was a huge fan of the original Doctor Who before the hiatus and is the reason he became an actor and always dreamt of playing the Doctor so it was a dream come true for him which is why he was so into it
Edit: yup it's in the video number 50
Did you know Tennant appeared on Doctor Who before 2005

I believe David Tennant also owns his Dr. Who outfit and brought it back himself to film "The day of the doctor" special so the studio wouldn't have to make a whole new costume for him.
I've actually memorized the entire pandorica speech. I did it for a school talent show and I won 2nd place XD

101Facts ha ha ha that jock i made that jock to my friend my mum tolt me that
The Doctor is also married on Gallifrey, don't forget that Susan is his grand daugther.
We don't know that. Having a granddaughter doesn't necessarily mean he was married.
I toy with the idea that "The Doctor's Daughter" (actually, his female clone) has a child and comes back to 1st Doctor's Gallifrey to get him to help her with the child.
No, we do know that, he's been married at least three times, once to River, Elizabeth I, an unknown Time Lady (Through which line Susan is from) and I think it's been stated he has had more marriages than that.
How do we know he was married to the person through which line Susan is from?
There is an episode "The Doctor's Daughter," where the Doctor gets a female clone who he is first suspicious of because she's a warrior and he dislikes people who are enthusiastic about killing. Later, she shows more of his side and he accepts her. I think it would be interesting if SHE somehow had a daughter and had to go on the run. She would (somehow) manage to build her own TARDIS and travel back to the FIRST Doctor with the child; "Here, I'm in trouble, this is your granddaughter, keep her safe."
Fun fact: the episode blink was based on a story moffat wrote for the doctor who annual (I think 2006) with a very simlar plot sans-angels.
Ok I may be a Whovian, but holy crap I never knew The Doctor Was inspired by Sherlock Holmes?
me neither
The Doctor and House MD.
@@plaguedoctormasque8089 doctor who and house md are my favourite shows. I think I just really like Sherlock Holmes 😂
Its also blatantly false. I looked it up and the best I could find is that, IN UNIVERSE, Sherlock Holmes was inspired by the Doctor and his companion.
#102: In the Tom Baker Doctor Who serial "The Brain of Morbius" it's implied that the Doctor had 8 incarnations even before William Hartnell's First Doctor. After it was later established that Time-Lords are limited to 12 regenerations, the other faces revealed during the mind-wrestling match had to be explained away as Morbius' earlier incarnations instead.
Kenny Teeology.
However, now that it's been shown that Time Lords can be given more regenerations it would be interesting to see if they ever explore the idea that the Doctor had a secret previous life. We already know he completely shuts away his time as the War Doctor
@@crispin-freeman truth is that the faces that you see are actually people from the production team
True fact
The Doctor is a reincarnation of one of the original Time Lords known as the Other
I don’t get where this implication came from. I’ve had that video since I was 9 and it was plainly obvious to me then that those were Morbius’ incarnations as they appeared after his “face” the same way the previous Doctors followed the current face.
the Doctor's daughter married the Doctor and had the Doctor's daughter. wrap your head around that bit of timey-whimey knowledge.

Has anyone realised that tenant has ten in his name
the Gameplayer yees I did
the Gameplayer It's actually McDonald his real surname. Sorry to burst ur bubble
Only realised this whilst watching this video 😄
He legally changed his surname to Tennant for reasons completely unrelated to Doctor Who when he was 20. Hell the show hadn't even been talked about being revived yet, there's no way he would have known he would have gotten the chance to play the Doctor at all, let alone the Tenth Doctor specifically.

27:39: #95: The first companion with a romantic ralationship to the Doctor was Grace Holloway.
"The Doctor could even be a girl." Mate are you gonna be surprised.
You got one wrong. The Doctor was married at least 4 times. He was married before going away from Gallifrey.
Doctor Mayhem12 so people really gloss over the fact that 1: riversong marries a robot replica of the Doctor(Tesselecta), and 2: he never actually whispers his name in her ear (actually says "look into my eye"), thus rendering the ceremony invalid. I do believe he tells her at some point because he knows she has to go to the library and gain his 10th self's trust. However I don't see it as an actual marriage.

River Song claiming the brakes were causing the noise is bullshit since every single TARDIS shown on-screen has made that noise, even when used by higher class Time Lords who would obviously know to take the breaks off.
StrayRecords thank you!
Though it's interesting how during the first season (and I literally mean the first season), the TARDIS only makes the noise when dematerialising, and sometimes it didn't make the noise at all (like at the end of The Keys of Marinus). It only started to consistently make that noise upon materialising and dematerialising from The Rescue onward, right after the Doctor just said goodbye to Susan.
Well no cus the doctor is the same man all the way through
Thank you! I've been saying this too. Romana flew it by the book, soshe definitely got it right.
I like to think it was just River fucking with the Doctor when she said it made the noise because he leaves the breaks on. It's definitely supposed to make the noise but River probably just asked the TARDIS to not make the noise to screw with the Doctor (remember River was conceived inside the TARDIS and said she shares a strong psychic connection with her)
I realised that Doctor Who was f**king with us when I saw the scenes when there are loads of Daleks yelling EXTERMINATE. And then one of them randomly goes I'VE GOT NEW ORDERS! EXTERMINATE!

Here is another fact ..call it 102, The third DOCTOR, John Pertwee's last performance as THE DOCTOR, was in a fan film called DEVIOUS, but he died before the film was completed so he, sadly, never got to see his scenes. However the BBC re-released the story WAR GAMES, and used footage from that film. OK... I just proved all of my NERD credentials.

No. That's an opinion. Don't label it as fact. Also, Fuck you
Khaerys Targaryen aggressive in our fandom eh? Calm down a bit. Clearly they meant that as an opinion. Have you watched classic who anyway? Because I’m hard pressed to find anyone who has that thinks badly of Tom Baker’s Doctor. Unless they just don’t like old t.v because of the cheesy effects. In my personal opinion 4 plays it best followed closely by my favourite modern era doctor. Number 11. EDIT.... ok I’ve seen your other comments on this video now and can see you are probably a classic who fan as well, you just seem annoyed at people stating opinion as fact. Word of advice, don’t let it bother you. And screaming at people is surely not the best way to address the issue. As a doctor who fan yourself do you think our amazing doctor would treat people this way? I doubt it.

Actually The Doctor's regeneration limit is 13, not 12. With War Doctor and David Tennant Regenerated Twice, which makes the Matt Smith the 13th Regeneration. So Pretty Much Peter is the 14th.
You're confusing regeneration with incarnation. Does are 2 different things.
Count regenerations= how many times he regenerated.
Count incarnation= how many incarnations he had.
This was made clear by the 5th Doctor who claimed he was at his 4th regeneration.
He can regenerate 12 times. So he had 13 bodies
'could there be a time lady'
'only Northern accent'
Jodie Whittaker: *laughs*
Ain't nothing more creepy than a Dalek saying they're your servant. Can't help but agree with that, no?
Go away furry
Not just "servant" but "ssservant". In "The Evil of the Daleks" (2nd Doctor) the emphasis and slightly long S on "servant" sounds sinister and, for fans, is recalled in "Victory of the Daleks" (11th Doctor) when the 'inferior' Daleks say "I am your sssoldier".

#1 doctor is Tom Baker. The polls were taken by kids who don't know the whole series. Just like Star Trek Next Gen gets voted #1 but yet it's #2 (No pun intended because I like both Captain Kirk and Captain Picard.
Opinions are not fact ya little fucker. Just because people don't conform to your opinions doesn't make their opinion wrong. *Cough cough* Nazi *Cough cough*
Khaerys Targaryen ok I already commented on a different post of yours but *MAN ALIVE* are you ok? Like seriously why are you being so aggressive towards people in the comments section of a doctor who Video. I’m actually puzzled, I hope you’re just trolling people and I’m just taking the bait.
Hey man I know this comment was awhile ago but I’m assuming then you consider TOS the best Star Trek then? I’ve watched all of the series from TOS to Enterprise as a younger guy who actually enjoys older t.v/movies. It’s an interesting opinion for sure as I find for me TOS is too inconsistent to be the best of them. It’s like how Next Gen was inconsistent during its early seasons except TOS was cancelled before they could hit their full stride. That being said when TOS was good it was fantastic. Always good finding another Trek fan who doesn’t just like the new movies.
Jeff Goldblum would make a brilliant Doctor. He has that classic Tom Baker aura about him. Whose with me?
He's American...
