I got black waterproof gel eyeliner all over my beige carpet!! I used makeup remover wipes and it came out! Don't rub it all over the place..rub between your fingers and pull up. It worked like a charm! Good luck!

+Marissa Kelsh : Thanks for your question. As a general rule of thumb hot water will emulsify soil and stains better then cold. If memory serves I used room temperature water for this particular video.
Believe it or not here's how to get eye liner out of carpet: Mix 1 tsp of laundry deteegent with 3 cups of cold water in a spray bottle shake gently to mix spray this onto the stain let it sit for 10 minutes rinse with hot water and blot dry Hope was helpful please let me know how it goes☺
I will have to recommend asking that question of a dry cleaner. There are likely many differences in the textile of clothing and that of carpet. I am not an expert on clothing and wouldn't want to risk leading you down the wrong path, or having to replace any of your clothes if I gave bad advice. LOL. Good luck though.

Many professional carpet cleaning products have hydrogen peroxide built into them. Depending on the strength and application it can be beneficial for dye stains. Done wrong it can bleach out the carpet as well. I wouldn't use it on mascara or any stain that you are actually trying to emulsify residue. However once you get rid of all the stain residue and are only left with dye in the fiber it can be beneficial with risks acknowledged.
Unfortunately, I am not an expert in clothing. I know upholstery made in cotton is more temperamental than other fibers. Proceed with caution or try a dry cleaner
Honestly, I do not know if I have gone up against eye shadow. However the nice things about my tips is they wont damage you carpet by trying them. Now remember I don't wear eye shadow :), but if it is more of a powder like Blush I would vacuum as much of out as I could before using the spotting steps

I assume you are talking about rubbing alcohol and not Jack Daniels. I do use rubbing alcohol in this video, just make sure to follow the steps so we don't risk damaging the fiber.
Lipstick and mascara in 4-8 seconds - apply Stain Rx, massage for a few seconds and remove. If needed, massage a few more seconds and rinse again. Draw out all the soapy residue so dust doesn't stick to the area. If dust sticks, add water and draw out the soapy residue.
+G Philip C - Nothing odd about that. Try owning a carpet cleaning business. My kids favorite line is "its ok my dad will clean it up". They go to a party and someone spills and soda and my kids will say. "It's ok my dad will clean that up" This all stopped the day I started charging them LOL.

I have never tried this product so I can not endorse it. I rarely believe any product can SAFELY remove complicated stains with one step.
