0:45-0:50 is my favourite moment. I’m glad they showed this difference so well. Alec’s face while looking at Lydia’s entrance is full of confusion and doubts but when he sees Magnus’ coming he’s about to explode from joy, has those love sparkles in his eyes, can’t stop smiling and thinks "yes, that’s finally how it should look like from the very beginning". This show may be not very good in a wider perspective but they did great 3 things: parallels (not only Malec’s), parabatai bond (fight with toxic masculinity!) and Malec.
