thank you so much for the details that no one ever covers!!! even most retailers don't bother giving length, only width 7 or 8 mm. I had to find out I had the wrong length spacer after a year of popping my spacers in every 30 minutes of skating.
Great video. I had no idea about spacers. I just got a micro bearing set for my skates but they are very loose. Now I need a spacer kit. But I'll get them going again. Thanks.
I had this same problem, the axel size was correct but once I pressed the bearings into the wheel, the spacer was loose floating around in the wheel. I haven’t been able to find anyone talking about if that shouldn’t be happening or not but I’m guessing not 😅🤷♀️ so now I’m waiting for a different type to arrive, we’ll see if these are the same or not
Great video, thanks. One thing though, please don't put music in-between what you are doing, it's way too loud for the video & isn't needed, the sound of the wrench & you speaking is actually far more pleasant. Thanks for the video. Bless
I'm a bit confused. Do you recommend spacers for all wheels? I have the rollersbones teams and it seems to have a built in "shelf/seat" for the bearings already. Then there's the diameter of the axel to consider. My chayas came with washers on the inside of the wheel but not against the nuts and the stock wheels also came with spacers which make using a bearing remover impossible to use. I'll just leave the stock wheels and bearing now since I bought a new set of bearings anyway.
i have to share this video. I've felt this way and now I can show others what I've had in my head. I never thought of the G-Clamp, that right there I know will help a lot of people! (also the bearing remover you made.
Again thank you for your support : you could try : www.olisskateshop.co.uk/spacers-for-wheels or www.doublethreatskates.co.uk/products/bearing-spacer or www.skatehut.co.uk/united-skates-abec-7-skateboard-bearings.htm . I hope this helps xD
Super information!! No one talks about this but I see where this will make a huge difference. Going to use this setup ASAP!
Thank you for your support , im so glad i could be of some help xD
Good overall. I learned exactly what I was looking to learn. The music over your voice distracts.
