When I bought my Ford 4000 they saw me coming they had just finished painting the tractor and covered up a multitude of issues and problems that I later addressed. But back in 1997 when I bought that little 4000 I didn't know any better but we learned a lot as we were fixing things. 😊☕🧰🧰🧰🧰
I've been took to the cleaners so to speak a few times over the years myself. I'm to the point now where fresh paint makes me a bit suspicious that the seller is trying to hide something. It's great to hear from you my long time friend. And I also want you to know that you are still in my prayers. Take care of yourself and may god bless you and your family.
@@rodder2046 thank you very much for keeping me in your prayers. I went last Friday for the first CT scan to determine if the treatments were effective the doctors reported there had been a 50% reduction in the size of the tumor🥳🥳🥳 The next treatment plan has been laid out but in my mind God has the final word thank you very much for continuing to pray for my 100% recovery, my longtime friend. 🙂
Have had my 4000 for over 25 years. Great for hay, roads and just about anything else. Take care of her and your grandchildren will enjoy her. They don't build them like that anymore
reminds me of my fathers old tractor. we had a bull an my pony on the farm my father worked at, but at our own farm, we had chickens, grapes and veggies. seeing your tractor made me think of it, a long time ago lol
I was 9 years old when this tractor was built. I also have some fond memories of those early years of my life. It's great to hear from you. Take care and god bless.
So far all I've found is a couple of minor leaks and and a missing bolt or two. I'm gonna work her a bit before I service the fluids and filters. When I get a chance I'd like to go over her with some polishing compound. I'm pretty sure that old original dull paint has just a bit of shine left in it.
91970 Ford 4000 Diesel and I absolutely love it energy loader on it but the loader is like way too big for it so I'm going to take that off and put it on my 895 International 4-wheel drive I think definitely be better fit but my brother's birthday brand new in 1970 same year I was born
