Plasma; lasts a long time; stable technology. LED; A.K.A OLED; super sharp images; doesn't last as long; ridiculously thin. LCD; good for long-term use; no permanent image burn-in. Pick the one you like.
7:48 In Brazil we have a saying: In the blacksmith's house, the spits are made out of wood. I used to work at GM, but also was never able to afford a car.
That's why I like Pioneer Plasma's. I believe their quality control is much better, and the chances of having loose screws or extra screws inside the TV are slim.
plasma looks soo nice. about to grab a couple off craigslist before they disappear. will stay on the lookout for a higher end model someone throws on craigs, no point in using shitty led panels when these tanks are still around. shame they died off. I get it though. they're too good and last too long.
I kinda feel sorry for Plasma technology, its a great way of displaying images, but getting smashed by LED/LCD panels :( Its gotten to the point where I have 4 - 5 potentially repairable standard definition Plasma's just sitting in my junkyard awaiting the dump because their just not worth fixing :( I even have a Hitachi the same as the ones in this film.
sad to think the guy in the factory can't afford to buy one himself.....imagine how many of those high priced tv's he has checked out.......sad to think
this video shows just what i need. fuckin threw a cable because there was too much cables around my chair, hit my tv, damaged the contrast panel. time to get automotive tint and plexiglass
I've watched this like 10 years ago at that time Plasma Panels were super expensive....The technology behind Plasma display is great, but sadly Panasonic the last popular manufacturer of Plasma is ceasing its operation
The dream's dead, they stopped making plasma a couple years ago. It was still an arguably superior technology, but more expensive. . . find one on Ebay before they're all gone. . .
led is the best. dont let anyone tell you otherwise. i had a plasma a lcd and now a led. it is superior. but more on the expensive side. plasma does have better picture quality then an lcd but lcd will last you longer then a plasma would
+sirhendro Stop being pedantic. A TV with an LED backlight is called an "LED TV". Yes it is a sub-category of LCD, but no one ever calls an LCD TV with an LED backlight anything other than an LED TV.
I was thinking the same thing. If the company has any decency it will give the workers a huge discount.
It's amazing to see there are people with such design and organizational skills.

I had 5 different LCD/LED tvs until I got my Panny Viera. I would never ever go back now.

Interesting but I don’t understand how are the demons watching me through the TV?
Not bad for such disposable technology, LED's have pretty much replaced these!
i think led is the best?? im wondering what to buy lcd led or plasma
Plasma is best for image quality but it can burn in easy
Buy all of em
Wow I remember them coming out. How the times have changed
The machinery robotics were created with supreme intelligence....
Sorcery at its finest!

You should know than plasmas has better black levels, better colors, perfect vieweing angles and less motion blurry.
Yeah, if you don't believe in facts. . . they were better for motion blur though. . .
There is a fifth state of mater , super-fluid.
Plasma tv`s had a good run 1981 to 2014
Thank you Mr. Wikipedia.

The dream's dead, they stopped making plasma a couple years ago. It was still an arguably superior technology, but more expensive. . . find one on Ebay before they're all gone. . .
They are still plentiful and cheap. It will be a while before they shoot up in price like crt. Good time to buy right now
thx!
i know u guys will all hate me for this but here it the list of tvs that will last by years.
No body wants a plasma TV anymore. So he can probably afford to get one now.
Plasma still blows away lcd/led for picture quality
Yeh true
If u watch this on a Plasma TV, youll get russian subtitles.

This is puerile low tech layman info. I was looking for a proper tutorial.
leds 3-4. years
plasmas 1-2 years
led 4-5 years
Omg always the same video for all these years!
THEY NEVER FUCKING EXPLAIN HOW TVS ABLE TO CONTROL EVERY ONE OF THE CELL SIMULTANEOUSLY!
They don't control every one simultaneously. It just does it really fast so it looks like it's all happening at the same time.
haha
jdjd
plasma tvs suck i ad two and they both are now in a land field the stoped working the day the warentee expired
TV sucks nothing good there anymore
And you thought it sucked three years ago?
plasma sucks. led ftw
You mean OLED or LCD. LED itself is just the backlight for LCD displays.
