It all depends on what you like to shoot. The assassin is a good bow. I am sure you can get a better deal on it since it is almost two years old. The anarchy is great as well, but I think you should shoot something that fits you. I have long arms and the anarchy fits well.

Hey Jason,
Great review. Your review is exactly what I needed. I was torn between the Anarchy and the Heli-M. I watched both of your reviews and am deciding on the Anarchy. I don't like the look of the parallel limbs. And looking at your review it looks like they perform pretty close to the same. One question I do have is how much heavier the Anarchy feels in the hand compared to the Heli-M. If there are any other comparisons that you think are relevant I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

It does not feel that much more. It is only .3 pounds more, which is not even noted. It is longer ATA, but it is the bow I am shooting right now if that gives you a clue. ;O)

hi there ima looking to buy a bow for around 600 and i am stuck on 2 bow right now to get. I am looking to get the 2012 bowtech assassin or the 2012 bear anarchy. i know that both bows are really nice and the reviews on them both are extremely good, so i was wondering if you know witch is better for the price thank you.

I use bow cases from SKB. They have been known to survive plane crashes.. :)

Yes I am. I did the 2013 bow review line. Waiting on the 2014 bows to get to my house. Plus, lots of crossbows coming this next couple of weeks.
