For a moment I thought this was one of those AI training videos that pop in my recommendations from time to time. Still was a fun watch, but it does make me wonder how well one of those neural network AI's would do if put into Overgrowth.

To be honest, most of the variables added to the simulator in this system did “NOT” benefit the training, more like engineer training himself to help solve problems for the red dolls…… A better variable might be “reward given when a crit is dealt” or “ defeat enemies with less time/more health left gain rewards” , to let AI simulate millions of times and figure out better (or a more cheesing way) strategies or skills. For examples, crit give rewards may result archer Rex to aim for heads more often(if headshot deals crit), also sward one might choose to spam spin-kick to keep knock dawn dolls , this way he will lose less health, perhaps.
it either a) becomes a stalemate(basically that its uncertain witch one wins, or both lose), b) one of the AIs just becomes better, or c) they constantly just outperform each other, (like one AI wins one time and maybe and the nest time the second one figures out how to defeat it)

Just wondering, can you add something like enfeeblement? Like for example if a target is shot in the leg with a bow, wouldn't that be interesting if it makes the target slower. Just something I thought to share. XD
