Im a contractor and have been trying to learn how to do this type of work and I think this is the best detailed video ive seen on youtube. Great work bud, you even showed what no other video ive seen has showed, which is the sanding down step b4 the stain. That alone was worth money! Thanx Again.
Great work bro. I do the same stuff for a living and want to say that is as good as it gets as far as applying the product. Funny to see comments from people who know absolutely nothing about the trade. Keep up the good work.
Great video. And very well demonstrated. How effective is it to create a acid stain floor finish on an existing old micro top finish. Would it cost less? Cheers
HI, IM PLANNING TO DO THE CONCRETE STAIN IN MY BASEMENT, HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU THINK I WILL NEED TO BUY ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT , THE LENGTH OF MY BASEMENT IS 10 METERS BY 5, THANKS.
Thanks for the video. I notice you didn't acid etch. I troweled a microtopping and sanded with 100 grit screen like you. Does that mean I don't have to do the acid etch before putting down an acrylic sealer?
Well this really is good info, regardless of who product to use, u need to know wat u are doing and how to price.. I can do a job like that in one day and seal the next for round $1.00 to $1.50 sf.. 1 or 2 coats of microtopping
Sorry to hear that cliffcarlo180. While Brian applies 7 coats in this video, only 2-3 are necessary. Many people find applying an acid stain over a micro-topping easier and more desirable than other flooring options. If you do change your mind, we'd be more than happy to help you out on a project. Thanks!
7 Coats of Material is complete overkill, you only need 2 to 3 tops unless your doing a floor with a pattern and texture then you will need more than 2 or 3, but for what he did in the video it made no sense to me....on a side note it does look nice.

I purchased product a while back and it's still sitting on the shelf in my garage how long will the product stay without being used
Very informative. Great video.
Very good and well presented thank you...
Hi, I am considering this for a back yard patio. As shown in this video, will the finished product be slippery when wet?

What was that was that white cement in the bag
This looks like private labeled Surecrete products. Would it be cheaper to buy directly from a surecrete dealer?
We're actually part of the same company as Surecrete, so you would be able to get our products under their label. Thanks!
@@ConcreteCoatInc 👍
Great idea to try it on a slab

He acid stained. No need to acid etch before sealer when you acid stain. In fact, it would ruin the stain.
? how can I orther this matrials
FANTSTIC JOB
what about expansion joints ?

I wish he covered drying times
well done sweet job thanks
Ya, good video but that's a lot of coats. I thought it would be cheaper than flooring.(That music scared me a few times!)
After coat 23
Very dramatic between steps....I think someone should get shot or stabbed and then play the sound effect! Great video tho!
at each break I expected it to return to a pool of blood and 2 detectives with their chins in their hands.
Well thats made my mind up, far too much effort for a mediocre result.....sorry
