18:15 WTF b6? instead of BxB and then Qa4+ ????
What if black play 2...d4 after 2.nf3? Going directly after d4 with 3.c3 can allow black to support d4 pawn with 3...c5. How you evaluate this position?
Mio thank you! Some comments, Stockfish checked. At 18:14, 6...Bc8-a6 is not possible: 7. Bxa6 Nxa6 8. Qa4+. At 19:10, 10.bxc5 is not good, as after 10...bxc5 11.a4 cxd4 12. cxd4 Nc6 the game is equal. Best is 10. dxc5! bxc5 11. Nbd2 Nc6 12. Nb3 with much better position. At 19:45, 7.Bd3 is answered with 7...Nc6 8. b5 Na5 9. Be4 Bb7 or 8. 0-0 Bb7 and Black can always answer cxd4 with ...cxb4! getting the upper hand. White has to play immidiately 7. cxd4! cxd4 and only now 8. Bd3 getting a small plus.
Wow! Your videos are great! The only good, detailed guide on the WIng Gambit that I can find out there! Thanks for that.
Thanks! I appreciate your comment :) Check out other videos!
"Thank you so much for this video...".
At 18:16 you can trade bishop, give a check on a5 and win the night. Ba3 is a blunder by black
I like your work. I like the way you are clear in your explanations as well as in your diction. Thank you very much master Perunovic.
One more great work sir..thanks !! You are the cutest butcher i ever found...keep smiling
Although I prefer positional chess I still find your videos very useful. Not surprised u have "produced" so many strong players.
Thank you 😊
I think these gambits are useful to unsettle players in bullet & blitz formats. This is exactly the kind of analysis I was looking for on the Wing Gambit. You made it interesting and informative. Thanks!
Thank you Omkar :)
After i watch Wing Gambit here.. I can defeat any player play french against me. And im very happy when i see him replay with e6😂😂
💪😉
Lively presentation!!
Wing gambit is good for beginners
Your lectures are awesome and helpful!!
Wajid Shaikh Thanks! I want all of you to have good results with these lines!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial sure will do it from now onwards.
Anyway can I request something, I need your lecture on smith morra gambit from white side. Thanks a lot in advance.
Me too! I hate playing against the french, it is by far my worst statistics opening from white. Going to try this.
Wouldn't go well against more tactical french players like simon williams.
I am very excited and happy about your fantastic opening lecture series!
Love this gambit, but 11:08 looks like black can play Bxb5 and win the pawn, no?
Very good video.
A question though: why shouldn't the Greek gift sac work in the variation shown at 16:00?
Ramón Jessurun after Bh7 Kh7 Ng5 Kg6/Kh6
After quite a bit of analysis, I believe that it stills works but the attack is just slightly less strong. Having the extra knight developed on c6 makes it a bit easier for black to defend. I still favour the Greek gift sac in that variation.
I know it's been 3 years but I wanted to thank big Mio for these wing gambit videos. I am developing a repertoire for faster time control tournaments like g10 or G30.
Thanks Danny! I am thinking of reuploading some of these videos!
Better than some other online chess lessons out there!
Ramón Jessurun Thanks a lot! Keep watching 😉
thx for the vid, i love how you showed the boring lines first, very unclickbite
8:26 4. ... c4
at 11:11 after Nbd2 by white why can't black simply take on b5 with his bishop threatening the rook?
He may take on b5 Roberta, but after Re1, Nf3 Rb1 white has very promising attacking chances and great compensation for the given material!
