I used a rolling three tier cart for my baking supplies that I put in my pantry then when I would go to bake something, I could just roll out the cart into the kitchen and have everything I needed. I put all the baking cups, sprinkles, mixes, flour sugars, etc. I put the stuff I would access the most like flour and sugar basics on the top in pop top fresh containers with scoops inside so if I needed flour or sugar etc for another type of recipe I could just bring my bowl with me to the pantry and scoop out what I needed or just grab that one canister.
Whenever I organize for anyone,if possible,I put lightweight items on the highest shelf. That way,if it falls on your head,it’s not too bad. So Tupperware in a top cabinet (preferably in a basket) and paper towels, napkins, tissues, etc. on that top pantry shelf, you really don’t want to pull off anything else on top of you. ( I also empty cabinets and pantries using laundry baskets.)
Looks great! Organizing any space in your home is an ongoing thing. Our needs change or we buy different size items. It is so nice to have things easily accessible and pleasant to the eye. It functions better and is less anxiety-provoking. Take care. ❤😊
When done with pantry make a list for the door list things you don’t need to buy. Put in plastic sheet to pull out and how many you have as of today. Rules break down each bulk item into useable package’s baggies you can put all back together in one place. Hot choc tape a label or the box pic on it.
Looks a lot better. My daughter hangs and organiser on the pantry door. It has a lot of pockets to put all the snacks in and frees up space on the shelves.
Ditching full or almost full boxes that are designed to provide the optimal support for that particular content, so much garbage individually wrapped single servings must generate, and then the veritable snacks altar... some material for nightmares right there 😵💫 But this is the first realistic and honest pantry organisation I've ever seen, so kudos to you and sis!
G'day again! I don't know if this is helpful in your situation, but a general rule of thumb, if you like, is to store things in the same area where they are used as much as possible. Time stamp is at 17:23.
Wondering if anyone else puts just food items in the pantry. I try to put non-food items where they will be used. For instance, I put tissues in the bathroom linen closet, dish soap (even the backups) go under the kitchen sink, extra trash bags go with the trash can, etc.
Your so loving to do this and you did this for your sister. It came out great. When I look at apartments I don’t know I always check the pantry if it has one. So thank you for this video I’m a new subscriber. Love Love these videos
I would have added four more shelves on the wall to the right of the existing shelves…maybe not as deep as the existing ones. You could then move all the paper towels, tissues, etc. to the top shelf of both things. If the shelves were less deep, cans and bottles would be perfect on the new shelves. I try to avoid splitting things into a secondary location because I think it causes confusion and more double purchasing because you can’t see it.
Maybe they can add more shelf’s on the right side? I agree that organizing is not easy to do to make it look great and functional for the first couple of times. When I organize my pantry , I like it but my husband can’t find things easily and end up making a mess.😞
She could buy a shelving unit to put from the shelves to the kitchen wall. The right hand wall where you walk in. You can buy a carrier bag holder from ikea to fasten to the wall. It looks better without the outer boxes.
Great job Gabbi! Maybe it’s the wide stripes… but your baby bump is really looking big! When are you due? You are so cute and I love how you talk through the processes as you’re doing them. Thanks 🌺
I have a friend who calls me her personal garbage disposal. Her and her kids don't eat leftovers at all so I grab all the food she's throwing away. She's also a date freak so I grab all that stuff before she puts in the garbage. She even jokes with me like, "ever since I met you, I have way less garbage" lol
Wish I could hire you to do my apt! **Sigh.... I'm an Aspie with no organizing ability. I am smart but dumb too. lol Totally normal for an Aspie. I've tried hiring people and can't get any takers $25-$35/hr! No one wants to work! I live in a storage unit basically. Lol My family is all dead, so no help there. They had help, I took care of most of them until they died. I've been alone since I was 32..I'd like to have room to do art (I want to move into Native Arts) and maybe get rid of my Pre-med books and stuff.
My favorite videos are organization! Thank you for sharing. Next time she buys Ramen, she can just tear off the plastic and keep it in it’s “dispenser” box. (Which could then sit on top of the cans or underneath the oatmeal.) I would also buy a metal can with lid to hold the largest bag of dog food she buys, otherwise they will have mice 🐁.😵

So nice to see a normal pantry instead of one that looks perfect with all the right shelves and marked containers. ❤
💯 add extra containers if/when necessary, not just to look good for IG, ya know?
I know Pinterest is the devil’s handiwork 😏😏😏
Finally a realistic pantry organization!

What a supportive family

The cleaning products and paper products either in the laundry room, or like you said under the kitchen sink
I really loved it when you said SUPER ORGANIZATION MODE!! This video did give me a huge motivation, thank you!
Your sister could do with an over the door metal shelf rack and put all sauces and condiments and oils in it. 💐
The pantry looks great awesome job 👍

I always put cleaning supplies and paper products in a different closet and not the pantry.
Beautiful job🎉❤ Maybe a storage on opposywall that has racks all the way down for bottles and dry condiments or?? ❤❤❤
All those stuff in big bulk bags can be broken down into individual snack bags for the lazy Susan or a basket.

Make clear baskets for baking, anything up top.

I lay my canned foods on their sides and stack them. You can get so much more on the shelves😊 If you have a lot of canned items.
You need one more shelf or riser's.😊 And 3xtra support brackets.😊
My organisation changes with the seasons - i do less baking in summer, so the tins go away and the icepoles, icecube makers come forward -
The canned food could be double stacked

Nice job!
I think sometimes it's easier to leave bulk stuff in their boxes
Lucky sister!

Sound effects were cracking me up!
First step is to get rid of all processed garbage. Otherwise looks nice😊
Great job Gabbi! Maybe it’s the wide stripes… but your baby bump is really looking big! When are you due? You are so cute and I love how you talk through the processes as you’re doing them. Thanks 🌺
Thank you ❤️
Expiry dates r just an outline, year old products r ok to eat.

She's also a date freak so I grab all that stuff before she puts in the garbage. She even jokes with me like, "ever since I met you, I have way less garbage" lol
Your sister could install shelves on the other wall for non food items.
You did double the work

Dommage de ne plus avoir accès aux sous-titres en français...
I've never put cleaning products in the pantry. But I guess if you have room, why not?@
Where did the bag of pistachios go?? 😅
I’ve never done bulk buying or really understood why people do it. Then covid came and the shelves were empty and I’d wished I was a bulk buyer😂
G'day, Gabbi! 17:08 What are Koozies?
they are soft little containers for cold drinks so your hand doesnt get cold holding them :)
@@getitdonewithgabbi Ok, thank you.🙂
WHY put Kleenex in the pantry??
I’d rather have the paper
Towels on the floor with the dog food
🤣 OMGosh as soon as I said that you moved them!!BAh hahahaa
Could she put Kleenex in Linen Closet or bathrooms?
Too much talking
