Petition to release the full uncut version.
they published the whole episode
I believe this segment was edited down from a much longer studio recording. I too would be interested in a 25-minute version of Horse Story.
@@CalvinLimuel Supposedly it took 30 minutes to tell this one story in the studio, hence the "Look at me!" from Brydon. I think that's what is being asked for.
@@johnhoney657 I think the look at me was due to Mr Bridges laughing so much at Mr Mitchell's rant.
I want to see the whole 30 minutes as well!
'the trouble with this game is it plays tricks with your mind'
and that was before bob mortimer showed up
I was going to say "And then Bob Mortimer started appearing and frazzled David's brain!"
The greatest moment in the history of this show.
This and Lee Mack's spider story.
@@Dalewt75And anytime bob opens his mouth 😂
100 percent 😂
I just can't believe David Mitchell never considered a career as a criminal prosecution lawyer...
Our gain that he didn't.
His mortal nemesis, Bob Mortimer, _WAS_ a solicitor before going into comedy. He represented Pulp's Jarvis Cocker after his protest during Michael Jackson's performance at the 1996 Brit Awards.
has he ever played one on TV? There's an idea...
He did, but he’s too honest
He was so happy at the end when hitting the button knowing it was true hahaha. Absolutely love this clip, makes me laugh every rewatch.
“The guy explained to us that the guy was gone.” This guy is in a new dimension 😂😂😂
What made this extra special was the fact that all of the cast were on point, right down to Brian's patting Lee, all of them had their moments, absolute quality......
Probably the funniest ever story on would I lie to you. It's so ridiculous everyone's in tears of laughter.
I watch this about every six months and quite genuinely believe it helps keep me alive. This is complete joy, every time
I watch it every six hours!!
I've seen this multiple times and it never ceases to be hysterically funny. 😂😂😂
This is perfection. No matter how many times you watch it. Every single person on screen contributed to it. While I mostly remember David and Lee's bits, the guy on David's team provided crucial ideas for others to bounce off from and the other two are memorable simply by being in tears or shock, their faces being essential ingredients for the whole thing. Although we all would like to see the uncut version, editing must be praised too.
"Counterfeit horse" 😂😂
Rob going "Kevin Bridges, for the love of God!" is the most underrated part of this whole thing.
"Underrated" is the most overrated word in the history of the English language.
It's the David getting so into it and explaining it and going OTT which does it for me
"I would have thought that logically when you were returning it having thought that he had come from the stable, but you were lucky enough to not to have walked to the stable before hiring it, you might nevertheless have thought "well the stable is where he's gotta go back to" rather than, well sod them this is where we picked it up from. I'm going to stand here 300 yards away from the stable going "COME OVER HERE. COME AND GET YOUR OWN HORSE" at which point locals start waving going"NOO ! YOU KEEP" 😂😂
I watched almost all episodes of WILTY and this easily goes in the top three funniest stories. And l laugh hard every time for 25min so I give myself 5min break.
About the best WILTY story ever…
Certainly one of them. Anything with Bob Mortimer is top level.
As a Bulgarian myself i never even for a second questioned that the story is the absolute truth. That can only happen in Bulgaria 😂
Keely’s face at the end!
Keely's face at any point 😍
@@kryptonianguest1903 Gorgeous 😍
Bob is by far the best contestant imo, but this was by far the funniest segment.
This is one of the most classic WILTY clips but I have always wondered what happened afterwards... there is no real resolution. Like what happened to the horse in the end?
Worrying visions of a Bulgarian pet food factory come to mind
But I am hoping that one day Kevin will be on the show again and in the "This is my..." round, someone will lead a horse out and Kevin's card will read "this is Dobbin the horse I once accidentally bought in Bulgaria"
that horse is mince meat by now pal
The guys got out their costume went home and back next day for another scam on the next suspecting British tourist.
The horse is named psycho
Kevin Bridges has said that they called his friend's father. The Dad got in touch with a Bulgarian animal rights group, and they agreed to take the horse and make sure it was cared for, so the horse was handed over to them. Kevin said he wanted to keep it, but it wouldn't fit in that little frame they have to measure your hand luggage.
The horse could still be alive, depending on how old it was at the time. As of 2023, KB is 37 so this happened 19 years ago. Domestic horses generally live 25-30 years.
One of thee very best to ever do it. No Comedian ever caught fire like Kevin did and when the massive pressure to not just maintain it but grow upon it he just didnt miss. Love to see it. Top 3 to ever do it. All comedians tell jokes but he lives in that rare air with Chapelle and Tiernan where they tell a story with numerous punchlines then surprise you years later with an end point thats not just hilarious to the current joke but will call back to an iconic one from before all the while prefixing the entire thing with a sentance about why you're gonna find it funny. Thats just special and it pays respect to their audience. Just incredible.
Not just the story, but the reactions and way its told, is one of the funniest things I have ever seen,
I watch this every few months. If it ever disappears I’m not sure I’ll be able to go on.
Every few days since finding it💕💕
Someone needs to make an animation of this story
Yes, like the Ricky Gervais show!!! It would be hilarious!!!!
Simply the most outraegously funny segment in the history of the show
I watch this again and again - brilliant
best ever! even been proved by the 45 mins this scene took.
I never will get tired of watching this, absolute treasure.
Every question they posed was answered. Every answer he gave was plausible. Even the extortionate price was believable. I knew it was true. 😂😂
I knew it was true when he named the currency of Bulgaria. How else would he know that?
He could've risked lying I guess.
He could have actually gone to Bulgaria but not have accidentally purchased a horse. Assuming that in Bulgaria, all items are purchased in the same currency, it wouldn't be difficult to have that knowledge.
I know the currencies of lots of countries, doesn't mean I've ever bought a horse in those places, or even gone there.
He could have gone on holiday in Bulgaria without the horse riding
I knew UK is using Pound and I've never been there or even near it
As it turns out, having an English man, a Scottish man and a Welsh man on the same show is a funny affair 😂. The fact that it was true is brilliant aswell. I would have definatly gone with a lie. I think Kevin knew what he was doing when he was making it look like he was getting caught up in the lie. Strategy 😂.
Watch when ever I need a chuckle 💕💕💕
Still hilarious every time 😂
I've watched this probably more than 5 times and I agree whole heartedly lol
I have NEVER SEEN ALL' PANELISTS' LOSE THEIR 😂😂😅😅 AT ONE TIME!!!! OVER ANOTHER COMEDIAN.❤ BRILLIANT😂
Everytime i watch this i find new reasons to laugh
This and Lee Mack /Harry & Megan’s wedding we’re the best 2 moments
I have read other comments that said that this sequence was much longer - I'd love to see that version in its entirety warts and all and all bloopers too unedited....❤🎉
It was never released. But in the live studio recording session, it did take a fair bit longer than what could be broadcast. Rob's exasperation can really only be understood in that context, of the story going on for way too long.
So basically the guy they rented the horse from was just another customer who made an easy 200 lev
not even a customer - he would’ve pretended to be a worker and was doing the previous customer a favour by not having them take the horse all the way back to the stables.
Basically the previous customer gave the horse to a random guy and then Kevin gave him £90 for it lol
My favourite WILTY clip ever 😂
'Counterfeit Horse' I'm gonna use that.
As a Bulgarian fan of David Mitchell, hearing him talk about and impersonate Bulgarians is a delight.
A modern classic!!!
Go to Glasgow, this random shit is happening all day every day
Best one I've ever seen! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of the great British TV moments
Sorry...you bought a what? A horse, sorry I missed the "S" 🤣🤣🤣
This has carrot in a box vibes to it
I think hes making it up and im on his team 😂
I accidentally bought a full size piano keyboard on Saturday. I was looking at slippers for Mother’s Day. I knew I *wanted* a new keyboard. I thought I marked it as “to look at later”. It was only when I checked the receipt after paying for the slippers that I realised I put the keyboard my “to be bought” cart!
Don't return it, mate, full size keyboard pianos are ace. Every household needs one!
@@boiledelephant I already had to give away one to my theatre company because I moved into a flat and I couldn’t store it anywhere. Now I’m back to where I started! 🤦🏻♀️😛
The most favoirite clip of this show which says allot since so so many are so so so funny. Makes sense when you remember they were 18 year olds ... teenage boy logic.... Ha...
7:30 - her look of absolute disgust hidden under a disintegrating stage smile got me laughing so hard. I was expecting astonishment like the others and then she's just judging him for being a stuipid Scottish youth.
Just the best
How would he know the specific renting time of 25x2 minutes unless someone gave him that information? And whoever did, why would they if they were selling the horse?
It was a stolen horse, and the thief wanted to get some money for it. He told Kev whatever it took to get some cash and get away. The horse didn't belong to the stable, so couldn't be returned there, like if Kev had properly hired one of their horses. So, Kev never really owned the horse, he just had possession of a stolen horse without knowing how to return it to the proper owner. I do wonder who took the horse in the end, and if it ever got returned to its owner.
@@tux1968 Yeah that makes sense. I also wonder how it got resolved in the end.
Finally this clip is on UA-cam in non potato quality
Just Brilliant 😂😂😂😂
Kevin then brings out a pack of Findus Crispy Pancakes....
As a Bulgarian I started to believe when he mentioned the currency, lev, with 200lv being £90, which sounds like an avcurate exchange at the time...
Still, a rip off and a hilarious story 😅😅😅 scottish lads on holiday, expect nothing else but madness and top tier banter
I want the extended cut of this released! 😁
The guy thought he was is Asda when they brought him the horse lol
There was a bit of a communication breakdown XD
Carrot in the Box levels of deception from Kevin here.
I thought it was a lie, until I heard him say he was 18. As a mum of boys that age, I immediately thought - TRUE 😂😂😭
This and Bob Mortimer’s own dentistry are easily the top 2 of this show!
There’s no way he does his own dentistry 😂 dude lying through his teeth ha
The best one ever
My new top four guests are Kevin, James, Rob and Rhod
The story is bonkers😂. David raised a lot of good points, the rate is insanely expensive. Kevin was scammed. I can’t still believe this was true!
From Guy A's perspective, it was a very good deal for Kevin, who would get to keep the horse forever.
What series/episode was this please?
Brilliant
thank goodness for subtitles. I only speak english.
"Counterfeit horse guy"... 🤣
The counterfeit horse guy
It's probably the best non-Bob-Mortimer story...
OK, but like, what happened to the horse? did they just set it free or give it to a Bulgarian Horse Rescue? "Are there Bulgarian Horse Rescues?' Asks Stephen Magnan
This. Is. The. Best. One.
Guy a
Guy B lol
Look at me! 😅😅😅
It was obvious to me it was true - they all put so much effort into making people think it was a lie.
BEST!
What I still don’t understand is the “25 minute” part. One thing is misunderstanding ranting for buying, an other thing is thinking that you know how much time you have. Even with communication problems how come they jumped to the conclusion that they could ride exactly for 25 minutes each? It is so specific 😂
would have guessed true for sure. brilliant bit tho
I mean we’re Scottish these are the kind of things we do n then piss ourselves laughing at it 😂
Brian Cox on the right?
Professor Brian Cox
Best wilt ever❤❤
It’s not a lie if you believe it!
4:27
You keep
The underhanded genius in the answer was:
"200 Lev. L E V. I don't know how you pronounce it..."
Sure Kevin, you knew exactly how to pronounce it! 😂
4:10
"Hey fat boy! Get me a quid... or yer getting stabbed"
😂😚😚😚😂😂😂😂😂
You've already uploaded this
Actually this is the official channel and they haven't uploaded it yet.
Wilty?Nope! has uploaded it but that channel isn't "official"
There's three or four channels uploading the same WILTY shit all the time.
@@-_James_- how dare they
@@ClarkDroneFilms Given that WILTY? Nope! has 20 times the subscribers and has existed for seven years longer than this official channel, I assumed this isn't official in any way, shape, or form.
Instead of starting a competing channel that everyone assumes is fake, it would have made far more sense to just buy the unofficial one and monetise the 640 videos already uploaded. (And, no, I don't own the unofficial channel.)
@@-_James_-two channels that I know of are BBC official channel and Banijay something or other that upload plenty of old wilty content on here, gets so frustrating to be so bombarded with them when I just want to go back to some old clips for some laughs & not have the very same video appearing on another channel right after watching this?
🤣How is this guy famous if even they can't understand him. Absolutely love the show but can't listen to him.
Caucasian peoples holidays are wild 😂😂😂
It's me Kevin.
The Bulgarian guy at the shop was trying his best to explain things in broken English, and my friend and I were doing our best to understand.
But let's talk about the price. I paid 200 Lev for this horse. That's about £90, give or take. I mean, sure, it's a great deal if you're looking to own a horse for a whopping 25 minutes. Talk about getting your money's worth. In the end, I had to take it back to the random point on the road where I first picked him up(not the stable). When I tried to return the horse, the shopkeeper looked at me like I had just recited Shakespeare in Martian. I guess the locals were quite entertained by our little circus act. Either that or, they had been desperately trying to get rid of this horse named Psycho for ages.
But hold your horses, there's more. Turns out, the horse wasn't even from a legit stable. Nope. It was a counterfeit horse operation going on. Two guys in a horse costume, I assume. I guess they realised the horse couldn't handle more than 25 minutes of fame. Smart move.
In the world of horse shopping, it's all about the unexpected surprises. And hey, who knows, you might just end up with your own Psycho. And by that, I mean a horse, not a psychological thriller. It's an adventure you won't regret!
So, would I recommend this horse shop? Well, if you're into spontaneous horse ownership and have a penchant for misadventures, go for it. Just be prepared for the unexpected and don't count on returning what you thought was a rental.
Was writing that really worth it?
Some things aren’t worth putting effort into
Glaswegians trying to say words with R's in them is cringy
I love this show and most guests but I think Brian Cox is prob the worst guest ever or just worst in general (Not the actor Brian Cox, who can dislike him but the "scientist" dude is dreadful)
Absaloutley hate David Mitchell I have never found him one bit funny I don't understand why he is a comedian 😮
Absolutely*
the look on kev's face at the end, right before he throws his hands in the air, is the best. 🤌
