I know someone who bought one of these. There were some problems with it and he contacted the manufacturer. They were very helpful and tried a few things to get it going, but realised that it was a dud and replaced it. He didn't like wearing it so passed it onto me. Works great. It only has a Quick Guide and a manual would be welcome.
I had the same problem!! I tried to update while using and did the same exact thing. I ended up returning and when I got a new one did all the updates without running. The 2 minute hold didn’t work for me. When it does work it’s great. Sorry I couldn’t help. Customer service was all through email.
@@MichealC FYI: there is an issue with the sensor getting warm. Customer service is sending out “a heat absorbing sticker” which makes me think is a hardware issue. Amazon did give me an option to replace the unit as long as I sent the original back (or they would charge me again). I holding on to the tracking number in case they claim they didn’t receive it, which has happened to me in the past. Good Luck, You might want to try the coolify 3… not as many features such as display & health sensor.
@@JoeMarino1 Ranvoo just sent me a email, they said that they will send me another unit out and to not send the first one back to Amazon. Crossing fingers and wish me luck.
@@MichealC kool. Make sure the battery is charged and don’t use the fan until the update is complete. Be Leary if it prompts you don’t do a second update right away. It told me there was an update it again but the device was updated. I believe v19? Also since yur keeping the old one try to drain the battery completely to see if it resets. Worth a shot
@@MichealC they just sent me an email, guess they wanted to have feedback and got wind of my contact info. Which is okay, cause I didn’t tell you anything I haven’t told them. Nice to know they respond in a timely fashion. I have no beef with them, glad they try to support the device 😀
Mine just did this, don't see a fix. I have another one coming from Amazon, it worked fine after the firmware update for a couple of days, literally just shut off on my neck an hour ago...Hopefully round 2 goes better

@@MichealC I will be sure to do that, I know this may not work for you, and might be dated info, but I wanted to see if I can get mine working until the new one came, and when I started charging it, it ran through pass through charging, it showed 38% battery that point, I unplugged it for awhile while running and it stopped again at 30%, I plugged it in a few minutes again and it ran until it died around 5% and powered down. I charged it fully, unplugged it, and its been running fine so far. I wouldn't advise anyone keep the product after that problem i they are still within the return window, luckily I am. One of the first things I did after charging it was update the firmware, I will skip that process this time around and see if makes a difference.
Got mine today and I'm not impressed because I could NOT set it up at all. It refused to pair with my phone.4 hours try everything I got nothing at all! Packed it up and filed Amazon return. DONE!

@@MichealC FYI: Customer service gave me the tracking number for the heat absorbing pad it’s coming from China so it will take awhile. Even with the sensor getting a little warm, I still really like the product. Julia from RANVOO has been great and always responds (they are in a different time zone so I don’t expect a quick reply). Is there a way to fix this, I experienced this after a forced update by the app, there was only one button, update, no close, no cancel, no exit. Do I really have to accept that it has become a brick now?

Try putting on stand then using it? Or wearing it then using it...
