Very interesting. Please remember that if the car's computer calculated the speed data by counting wheel revolutions, it may read higher than the actual car speed when accelerating hard. This is due to longitudinal tire slip. It can be around 10% even without observable wheel spin, so it is quite significant

I believe Tesla constantly calibrates its speeds against GPS speed over time, but certainly could still be wrong with a hard launch.

Nice work! Any update on if you will release updated DBC files which include the model S plaid?

Do you have a DBC for the Plaid available?

Is there a way to read battery pack faults/errors using Savvycan? I am told that I have a model 3 battery pack that is giving BMB communication, bleed, and voltage sense errors and I would like to troubleshoot the errors further but do not know how to pull the errors myself. Note I do have the TRC file and dbc file.

Yes, the errors and alerts should be on the can bus, you can capture a raw log and decode them later

@@TechTesla Thanks for the response! How do I go about decoding them? Right now I can decode most CAN IDs using the model 3d dbc file but I am not sure how to find or decode these specific errors. Would you be willing to get on a teams call or FaceTime and walk me through? Willing to pay as well as I have been stuck with these errors for months and have not been able to find anyone who can help.
