The CANserver is a great project. Was planning to explore the CAN signals with my Ronde & Schwarz RTB2004 scope, but you have done all the hard work already. Is there any difference in the CAN signals available between the seat connection compared to the OBD connection? Already down loaded the tesLAX app looks interesting. Looking forward to try out the CANserver. Do you ship to Canada?
They are two different CAN networks with different devices on them. Only a small amount of data is repeated on both. I have some popular signals on each network in the documentation. And yes, there are already a few in Canada :)
@@TechTesla The Dual bus version will make both busses available simultaneously? Since the CANserver creates a WIFI network, therefore a PC should be able to receive the WIFI signal, then using Labview I should be able to create my own displays?
@@universeisundernoobligatio3283 The Dual Bus will log and provide data from both simultaneously, yes (when software is complete). Live wifi data uses the Panda protocol so you would have to make some kind of tool to request and receive that data into labview, but it certainly is possible. If you don't need live displays, it's super easy to save logs and graph it later.
