Two weeks after neck lift hurts a lot. Pulling pain. How long?
I would speak with your Surgeon. However, some tension/pulling is expected. I would check with your Surgeon to assess you and rule out any other concerns.
How long did that take to resolve for you? I am currently one week out and sometimes it feels like I can’t swallow it so tight.
@@sunnynights68I just had a neck left 14 days ago I’ve had horrible tightness around my neck like a noose and couldn’t swallow very well , The worst experience ever . I’m now starting to feel the tightness / numbness lesson ,what a relief.. you just have to hang in there it does get better
@@robinalexander1765 thank you! I thought it was just me. I’m at 3 weeks now and while it is looser still pretty tight. Good luck 🍀
I just had a face and necklift one week ago. . I can’t smell or taste anything. Would that have anything to do with my surgery? Thank you
It may well relate to post-surgical swelling but its best to discuss with the Surgeon that did it. Good luck in your recovery.
@@kkma1453 thank you for responding. I am really swollen and it actually just started like 3 days ago. Yes I will be calling my dr. tomorrow to see what she thinks. Thank you again! Have a great day!
@@ChaneltoSneakers you’re welcome
What's a ball park cost for this procedure?
Pricing is bespoke and I would recommend a consultation. Often liposuction is added in and the pricing will depend on the total package.
what is the risk of getting a noose like feeling that last long term?
I have never heard of this happening.
@@kkma1453 thanks . I have a follow up question . If permanent sutures are used … what are the risk of the muscle being torn ? Ie say you work out lots still . Will there be any high risk of muscle being cut from the sutures ?
@@td000 nobody answers this question....I want to know this as well....muscles are being sewn and or stapled....what if you have extensive dental procedues done and have to keep your mouth wide open...will the sutures etc tear or will the muscle?? no one will answer this.
You don't put sutures through the muscle itself, but the covering jacket of the muscle called the rectus fascia. Ripping it unlikely if you utilise good technique i.e. good bites through good tissue substance and repair in two laters with a high calibre suture.
