Mate the plan was always for Great Northern to keep at least 19 of their Class 365s. I don’t know where the idea came from that they would be getting rid of all of them.
@@drstrains2574 There's not enough Class 387s to run the KGX-Peterborough semi-fasts in the peak hours, and the Class 700s are obviously all busy with Thameslink services. Only ten units were used by ScotRail. Great Northern have kept 21 units in service for the said Peterborough peak services.
Im a big fan of the azumas too but also very sad about the HSTs gone. Apparrently they are getting rid of the class 91s too. In my opinion there is no excuse to get rid of the class 91s because THEY ARE ELECTRIC. In not angry with you by the way im angry with LNER
It is sad about the HST's - mainly because they are part of my childhood. The 91's: I am not really sure why they are going. They have been in service over 30 years now and there are not many of them so they must be close to worn out I guess. I don't blame LNER for wanting a one class fleet. It will be much simpler and therefore cheaper to maintain.
Great vid, enjoyed that. Although the HST's are no longer in use, the Azzuma trains are great. I do like the Azzumas
Travelcycle Vlog I like them too. I had a (short) journey on one last summer and was very impressed. The GWR version is awesome too.
@@drstrains2574 that's good. I went on the Azzuma late October last year. I have them on my channel
