Please can I talk to you about the situation of our dogs at the shelter in Uganda, we are taking care of stray dogs, and we ran out of food for our dogs and we aren't sure how long we can last. The dogs have spent 3days without eating anything 😢, we are desperately trying to find food and donations to save the starving dogs.

we are a small dog shelter taking care of stray dogs, we facilitate them through providing them with a home food and medical supplies for there health, we are so tight on dog food and rent for the land at the shelter now , we are desperately trying to find donations to support our rescue, we aren't asking people to donate directly if they can't but just trying to find the right people who might be able to help
Just wanted to reach out to you and ask your opinion. My fiance and I had to relinquish several of our cats to our local Humane Society due to her having health reasons. One of our cats was pregnant. When she was getting fixed from them today they aborted the kittens. I feel that they could have raised them with mama cat until they were ready for adoption. Is this normal? I just feel that this is cruel and unnecessary.
This is not a good ran Business thats what it is They are about making money All ways spay and neuter never put a cat outside and let it breed. were having an out break of feral cats and bascally HS North TX has made it impossible to catch and fix them. They can't make MONEY off a feral cat thats not adoptable. Cats outside only live average 5yrs my inside cat is 18yrs old being a animal owner is a responsibility Better org is TCAP if in Texas

While the Humane Society of the United States doesn’t oversee local shelters or rescues, we work with many across the country. While it can be difficult for teams to spay a pregnant cat, it is an accepted practice, particularly when a shelter or rescue does not have the foster or adoptive homes to place the kittens who may have been born, when mom cats are not healthy enough to bring a litter to term, and when the decision is done under the guidance of the veterinarian performing the spay surgery to ensure the kittens do not suffer. Local organizations have come a long way over the past 20 years and some are able to bring a healthy cat to term, place her in foster care for two months while the kittens grow up, and then place everyone into permanent homes but it is a resource-intensive process, lasting many months, that isn’t yet available to all organizations. For organizations that are over capacity and/or that need to hold neonatal kittens and nursing moms in a shelter environment, not spaying a pregnant cat can put the mom cat and kittens at risk for contracting disease and potentially being euthanized.
