- Australia Zoo today hosted an exciting celebration for Robert Irwin’s 17th birthday!
Robert's birthday is traditionally one of the biggest days on the Australia Zoo calendar, and this year, will celebrate Robert's love for wildlife and wild places.
Highlight was the official unveiling of a spectacular new diprotodon sculpture.
These ancient beauties are relatives to our modern-day wombats.

exactly what I was thinking- Terri did an amazing job raising them after Steve was gone. I would love to go there and meet them.
Mine too but I doubt I'll be able to cross that off my bucket list. I'll never be able to get there bcuz of my health. I can dream that I went there though
@@deebenson135 You know you could checkout place’s using Google earth not the same I know, when I was a kid I would read my Atlas and information about that country and imagine I was there, I have been lucky enough to have visited a lot of those places. But when my Sister and I were teenagers our Mum encouraged us to go on mental holidays, so we would get travel brochures and have a bath and imagine going on the tours, and Mum would say where are you off too today, I would say oh we are having a rest day in Banff Canada for instance. My Sister does it with her grandkids when they were supposed to be traveling to the US last year, with my Niece’s husband and 4 kid’s, pretending they were on the plane etc, the kid’s loved it. Robert and Bindi are such amazing kids thanks to a wonderful mother, Terri!! Both kids, along with Terri, have done so much and gone to so many different countries during their young lives working wildlife conservation. I wish Robert, Bindi, and Terri long lives so they can continue wildlife conservation. Wildlife really needs these warriors!!!!

Same. Something broke at13-14 and it’s been wobbly steps from there but steps never the less. I’m sure they all have difficult times too, you see them on their best, we’re watching their highlight reel. But it is incredible that they seem well-balanced all things considered and incredibly down to earth. I love all of them, they’re all very unique personalities. ❤️
