Just about all wooden or bamboo flutes, if they are decently made, have that property - the more you play them, the better they sound. That's because wood and bamboo are living, organic materials. I experience the same thing with the flutes I make - the more I play them, the sweeter they sound.

Hello Jose, i found your name on an "old" audio tape from 1994 i bought in Eugene Oregon during an "art in the park" festival...i've heard this tape hundreds of times and decided i need to get a digital version of your music. Amazing! Howa! Wado! I was adopted by a Cherokee woman when I was 2. My blood heritage is that of highlander Scotsman tribes, and I am learning to play the Great Highland Bagpipes. I think I might want to try to learn the Native flute but what I notice is very interesting is that many of the finger positions are much the same as on a hornpipe. Maybe that will be an advantage to me in learning.

thanks so much! this inspired me, i just started play native flutee, like a mounth ago, at this moment i playing the flute like an sax, not continuos like u, it's kinda diffent, but i like that way i'm playing, i feel good, my spirit express himself good in this way, i cant explain at all, because my english is not that good (horrible actually hahah), and u kinda need to feel/heard what i'm talking/writing about, hope u understand meee, maybe i'll upload a music that i created, just need some time and more training!

i would of preferred to hear just the man play the flute instead of the other background noises
