For the 2nd time in my life I am elated to see this- first nearly 35 years ago when I sang with a Navajo family, and now at listening to this song. It stirs something within me, perhaps it's because I have Cherokee, and Navajo in my DNA. I am honored to be able to " interface" with my not too distant brothers and sisters. I feel the same way. I was born and raised in Germany but was always pulled to the native culture from when I was a little girl. When I immigrated to the States I lived in Arizona for a while and became friends with some people from the Hopi tribe. I'm still friends with them today. I love native music, that's all I'm listening to it just resonates with me.

For the 2nd time in my life I am elated to see this- first nearly 35 years ago when I sang with a Navajo family, and now at listening to this song. It stirs something within me, perhaps it's because I have Cherokee, and Navajo in my DNA. I am honored to be able to " interface" with my not too distant brothers and sisters. I'm so glad I have the ancestry of two tribes flowing through my veins. I simply must praise the Great spirit for making me thus.

No puedo evitar toda una cascada de emociones que empiezan a invadir mi interior, este tipo de musica estremecen mi ser, no entiendo lo que dicen, pero siento que mi corazón sí lo comprende. Tal vez sea el sabio recuerdo de alguna vida pasada junto a estas etnias o civilizaciones.
Me gusta tener junto a mi collares, adornos con plumas, atrapa sueños, adornos que tengan relación con esta civilización extinguida, me gustan los elementos de la naturaleza. Hace muchos años me compre unos zapatos como los que ellos usaban y aparecen en muchas ilustraciones y no quería ni que el polvo los ensuciara, y aun mucho tiempo después de que se terminaron los seguía guardando. I always fell in my Heart the strong Spirit of the Natives Indias inside in my body its The Light of my SOUL..its so Magical..
I'm white but feel a connection to the Native spirit. Maybe its because of living in the Land of Enchantment(NM) or maybe I was of a tribe in a past life
I feel the same way. I was born and raised in Germany but was always pulled to the native culture from when I was a little girl. When I immigrated to the States I lived in Arizona for a while and became friends with some people from the Hopi tribe. I'm still friends with them today. I love native music, that's all I'm listening to it just resonates with me.
We have our own indigenous cultures: why not embrace them?! Of course there nothing wrong with cultural appreciation, but we have our own cultural traditions, customs and folklore thereof.

I think, most of us know about the sad history of the First nation who suffered a lot and still lives in reservations. Do they want to live in fhem? I think, no.
