Yes , Sir, you are very accurate as ever. I have a very similar experience as your's. In the state JEE exam, It was the math paper , 20 minutes passed and I only attempted 2 questions, so I started to lose hope, but believe me that thing lowered my expectations and after that I did considerably well to secure a good state rank in the same year.
