- The Leopard 1A5NO is a currently tier 6, 9.0BR Swedish MBT that costs 8910 golden eagles. It carries all the same features of the regular Leopard 1A5 in the German and Italian tech tree, but swaps out a dozer blade for a roof mounted LMG. While it has a potent armament, it still lacks much armor, and is no longer able to outspeed its enemies. Is it worth purchasing, though? Fashion thunder is a real thing. I still use the Chieftains even though they aren't the most competitive just because I absolutely love the way they look.
My problem with the Leo 1 is that's the mobility feels like you driving a Ww2 heavy tank gaijin really messed up with the leo's
Think they fixed it finally
The only 2 problems i have is that it has the armor of a light tank and that it always gets uptiered to 10.0 and 10.3 i think it should be put at 9.0 or gajin to fix their game
Hey i know i am a bit late but, i am thinking about buying the leo a1a1 l/44 or the leo 1a5 neo. Wich one do you recommend more ? Because i really can’t decide.

45 usd??? I'm getting hella scammed, 60 euro which is how much 9k GE costs converts to 58 usd, and I use GBP so I even get value added tax when buying GE wtfff, that means I'd pay what would convert to 60 USD, typical warthunder not even doing any currency conversions.

I got it to run with the 90105, not the best matchup but got me a second tank. I've been happy with it despite it being perpetually up-tiered because of the 90105.
they have equal pen so you should be good
would you recommend to get it and the CV90 for the birthday sale? I got the CTCV from the event so at least in my opinion that would make for a decent lineup but I'd like to hear the opinion of others
All vehicles are 50% off as of Christmas 2022, so I’m gonna get this thing and the strv 103-0 as both cost about 4,250 golden eagles!
Its really best used as a backup to the XC-8. At least it looks really nice.
I was considering this vehicle because premium modifier and Sweden, especially since the rumors of the Finnish tech tree finally coming in, but I'd honestly rather not after the test drive, let alone this video. Thank you for saving me money Tankenstein ^-^
The 103 and strv74 are the best combo for grinding, 7.7 Sweden is absurdly good

@@canadian__goose5954 i personally prefer the strv 81 to the 103, but both are great. if you have higher br practice, id recommend the cv90105, but the strv 81 is easier to get into and learn
@@canadian__goose5954 103 is a beast on large hill maps once you get used to it, struggles in cities obviously. If you buy it get used to using the travel lock button so it doesn't turn when you move the mouse, overall a beast but the turning when moving and the little bit of gun bounce (vibrating reticle) can be a pain in the ass
I use it as a back up for the XC-8 to bring in end ish match, pretty efficient grinder on budget

you take too much ammo, you really don't need to take more than the 15+1 apfsds you can fit in the ready rack almost ever
Wait for the 10th anniversary sale. It's less than a month away probably.
edit: I agree that this tank probably won't be in the sale because it's so new. However the 10th anniversary sale will probably be their best sale ever. I am not spending any money until I see those deals. Even if this tank is not on sale, you will probably regret spending money now.

Usually they don't discount vehicles that have been added the past two patches.
@@daveshilling6610 Probably not, but they're also probably going to do something special for the 10th, so I would still wait. Even if this isn't on sale, there are going to be some great sales, which might make you regret buying this at full price.

@@mathmusicstructure I'm thinking getting the j36A to help grind the tech t out but in 2 minds as I've got the mi28A and the 90105. 100% buying the Helena ship I've alrdy got my eagles ready for that
short answer dont buy it its a huge shitbox of a tank, just save up money for the cv trust me its horrible
I got this thing and I love it average five kills a game compared to the CV with 0.5
If a premium vehicle doesn't have any unfair advantage over vehicles at its br, it's NOT worth it. Vehicles like WMA301 on the other hand are totally worth it: thermals, laser rangefinder and apfsds are still not common at 7.3-8.3 so unless you're uptiered you will have a good time flanking and sniping with the WMA301.
the wma is broken at 8.3 and has no place in that br

@@joeyjo-jojuniorshabadoo6827 definitely is, should be higher br imo 8.7 atleast, same with ptl. The rooikat at 8.3 has a terrible gun, ptl/wma has great guns with great ammo selection proxy, atgms, apfsds with thermals/laser rangefinder is just broken at 8.3 its even good for 8.7. Gayjin cant balance chinese tanks and it shows. Bmp 7.3 with tandem atgms :| the aft09 just 0.4 over mephisto with 5.5km range 500m/s tandem atgms :| and they have top down missiles at 8.3. US has for some odd reason yet to get a M113 :/ they made it but everyother tech tree get a variant of it? Makes sense as usual.

In a perfect world where you only get matched up on tier this pretty much has all other MBT's beat. Cheiftain, M60, T64A. Of course the Leo 1A5 and A1A1 (L44) are comparable but they're pretty much the same tank. Now that most of the premium spam vehicles are 10.3 this is a pretty good choice as 10.0-8.0 is a pretty decent playground for your thermals, LRF and decent speed.
Except they're at the same BR but the a1a1 has worse shell pen vs the 1a5NO which has dm33 shells. Which isn't fair for the 9.3 br .
I'd love to have it, you can make a 9.3 line up using a T72, Leopard 1A5 and a modernised 9.0 Centurion all within one nation.

For some reason, fighting against the leopard is really hard. A lot of rounds that should go through the paper thin armor just bounce right off.
You just aren’t shooting it in the correct spot
@@hacobbrooks2270 Dont you tell me that 270mm pen APHE rounds dont pen the side nor the front of a leo. 400mm pen APFDSD rounds can also bounce off the sides of certain tanks because of the broken physics.
F4S is like 60euro 1euro=30 turkish liras İf ı want to buy it i will pay 1.800 turkish liras and gaijn now it so they make much cheaper Like f4s is 500 turkish lira in turkey it means 13 euro with incoming sales ı can buy it for 6 euro wich it is so fun :DD
