IIRC Rocket Salamander is why TG is now running Diabellestar. One of the Sinful Spoils cards she searches for adds a Lv1 Fire monster, and the lizard happens to be exactly that. TG is getting very freaking spicy.
This card is actually crazy, it gives you so many broken turn 0 lines, and makes your going second plays much more powerful by letting you play traps right away. Also it makes chaos angel in more way and it makes your gind game even crazier, overall a great card.
Thecards crazy but I doubt you play this more than 1-2 due to the fact A. you have to draw the power trap B. Youd need very specific power traps to really make up for the fact youre negging 2 cards, and you cant eradicator t0 w/o lady so that ideas thrown out the window. D barriers neat but only works vs a couple of decks, most meta decks can just chill(unless youre branded) with links or their monsters (lookin at you kash and VS), torrentials cute but is a worse raigeki basically, then theres the sets for Lady but playing more than 1 for moste except maybe punishment and daruma is eh. Like it sounds busted, oh t0 set and fire, but unless its some shit like daruma or eradicator w like lady in hand I wouosbt be ungodly terrified. I think the Lantern might get a card, as it's shown in its proper place in "Welcome Labrynth," fighting the Knight in "Fairwelcome Labrynth," and following Ariane's orders in "Labrynth Set up." And there is a hedge monster looming behind the two shadowed figures in "Big Welcome" so that thing may get a card too.
This thing allows you to use imperm set affect going second thats cool. Also this thing in altergeist could be really cool for activating faker without using haunted rock brick. But that’s like a 3 card combo so idk

You still have to draw the trap in addition to it turn 0 to set up and stuff like d barrier is pretty bad to run in 3's in lab mains. The scariest thing it can do consistently is set up big welcomes and punishments(and possibly torrentials) and while all that is toxic its still not as bad as shifter and arise-heart is on a normal day. The biggest meme with it though is definitely witches strike

Yeah i was like, "But how will you draw the out?". Try running all your broken T0 Normal Traps and this card and it might be degen. The problem is there is no way to search a trap consistent enough than Trap Trick which directly sets from the deck while Butler needs it to have in hand. In short, it requires you to have an enourmous amount of ratios just for hitting broken cards like D-Barrier on your opponents T1 like an engine except you can only search Butler and the rest are either Traptrick or playing Lab normally.
@@michaelgjrjvebs The card is very balanced up until we have a generic Trap Searcher from the deck to the hand and even then you will play it normally since you need it to activate on your turn rendering T0 Shenanigans. We dont even have that kind of card yet. The fact that all the Trap Seachers are directly setting the cards to the field cemented the fact that there is no consistent way of getting your "D-Barrier" in hand in T0. Its really good for One of Disruptions like Torrential, or Setup a card advantage by setting your Lab cards, or summoning to search your Lab cards. Its really helpful in Lab but running more might be bricky and can help a fake out for a good turnabout for 1 good trap like Impermanence or Heavy Storm Duster.

I read it and went "Knightmares were already frustrating in terms of availability of tools. Accesscode made me lose all interest in playing TCG. This just makes me glad I have no plans to come back."
All Clear is more than just a RotA. It's a a continuous spell that: -Enables the second effect of Salamander and Break Limiter because the only inherent Machine-types are the Level 12 Delta Accel synchros. -An extra normal summon in case you wanna set up more monsters to either get Halberd Cannon/Glaive Blaster or enough names to make King Calamity on your opponent's turn. -A 1-for-1 search that enables the End Phase effects of most of main deck TGs, which might be useful on Turn 3.
1. Arias is absolutely crazy but the fact the Normal Trap has to be in your hand to work does a lot to balance it out when it comes to generic traps. 2. Dark Hole Dragon is another in the line of old power spell support, but despite its only real home right now being Fire Kings I can see this having potential down the line because it has a VERY favorable condition of being a L8 DARK Dragon. 3. S:P is just good and it's probably the chase card of the entire set, top 5 even if it isn't. 4. I really enjoy Tistina as-is, actually, it's got a nice core for a going-second deck that has interesting removal and can get 5800-7000 direct damage through Hound's passive effect (before overlaying Demigod and God into Gustav Max to close games out). 5. None of the DUNE premieres excite me as much Quinquery did in the last core set but maybe Finis Terrae will see some play. 6. T.G. is absolutely going to get on the banlist in the future. 7. It's hard to parse the Armored Xyz cards, it feels like the introduction of a new mechanic or style of play that hasn't really seen its full development yet. It's got some interesting things it can do but it's just kind of a lackluster generic engine right now.
DHD is a fun concept of a card, but I don't think the summoning needed to be a hard opt. It only works off non-targeted destruction, and it can't be destroyed by card effects, so you can't really loop it. Leaving the search at a hard opt is fine, though, as the spell can be devastating.
About Dark Hole Dragon, it's not only Fire Kings. It also works in Traptrix and Yubel and basically any deck that involves non-targeting destruction, because it's not saying 'monster on your side of the field' but 'monster on the field' which in my opinion is the biggest thing about it. Though it's still hilariously vulnerable to Ash Blossom and any non-destruction removal.
Armored XYZ is pretty good because its so low investment. You either run only the Armored XYZ spell or run it and the trap and it nets you a pretty impressive boss as well as a draw for the cost of a rank 3.
Branded gets 10 million support cards? I sleep. Labrynth gets their 3rd new card after their introduction which we knew would happen eventually? REAL SHIT.
Finis Terrae Tower of the Necroworld is actually amazing for Rank 10 Trains. It's level 10, it summons itself for free, and has a "if sent to GY" that doesn't specify how or from where so you can trigger it by XYZ detach. More extenders is always nice for Trains, means you can get 2+ XYZ out more often, so you can have both Liebe to press for damage and Dora to protect it. Also MBT missed the part of Armor Torpedo where it not only Ancient Gears on attack, but also _negates all your opponents monsters_ until the end of the damage step. And it is when the Torpedo is equipped to _another monster,_ so you can slap it on your 3500 boss monster and swing at that Avramax, and there's nothing they can do to stop you. Not to mention the trap adds even more equip effects to it while it is attached to something.
I figured Labrynth has at least 3 more cards given the artwork of what the knight went through on her way to face the Lady. Apparently there is a lantern that flies, the butler, of course, and a shadowy woman from "Big Welcome Labrynth" that has a gargantuan pair of shears. The theory is that the woman is a gardener. There also MIGHT be a living hedge monster, like in the Stephen King book "The Shining." Basically the knight still has her work cut out for her if she wants to take on the Lady.

Hey, we now have the labrynth secret pack at least. At the ratios to pull the UR you wanted in that pack, unless you wanted the other cards from it, you'd be essentially pulling from the same one now.
funny crystal deck has the exact same problem as Nouvelles. Its scope is way too fucking narrow, whereas a deck like Exosisters can still do a few other things in bad match-ups. It would have to be stapled to another archetype in deck builds, similar (again) to Nouvelles being played in Dogmatika/Mikanko.
and lab is still missing 1 more card, or 2 if we get the knight as monster, while they really make sure that unlike the first wave being only halve playable every cards after that is uber playable

T.g. makes hot red dragon archfiend calamity regularly. Level 2 tuner level 5 Tuner and level 5 dark dragon or higher. Gets a counter trap too. Counters if they activate the continuous spell they cannot, Kaiju the dragon, ghost ogre an activation, negate synchro 5 dragon, nibiru on end board. Otherwise pretty good.
Nah Arias is balanced by having to draw the trap in the first place. Unless you want to run multiple trap tricks or tracks and then multiples of other cards. I do see a problem with its splash-ability in a lot of trap focused strategies, but like you still have to draw the trap for this to work turn 1.

Imagine what the game would have been like without MR5 that undid the zone restrictions of MR4. Salad was fun on its first turn combo bouncing between the 2 EMZ to game the linked zones. Omg that board game style of gameplay was so fun. I’m noticing that with snake eye and fire princess and Zelantis having these amazing ways to get linked zones. It’s not that heavy of a link based deck so it doesn’t even care. It’s so silly how that changed the game for a few years. If not for firewall dragon then gumblar ruining the era we would have looked at the first link format as so much fun
The TG soul charge is interesting, summon 4 from GY and then some from deck and for what? Ending on a normal summon negate and 2 extra deck summon negates? Unless you make Baronne before the TG lock it's at best funny.

Arias is really good if it's release imagine you don't need so much furniture and main deck 3 of arias damn set any card you like then use it right after it is set, it's like cooclock and lady combo but 1 card.
I wish Eldlich got support so good it made people stop using floodgates. Yeah those cards might need to be extremely broken but Eldlich as an archetype and as generic zombie support deserve more than to be remembered as a vehicle for floodgates.
Trap decks without floodgates are unviable in a competitive setting, traps are that slow, without floodgates lab wouldn't even be rogue, traptrix saw play because of new toy syndrome and it isn't any good

Don’t see Lab getting much hits as people would expect. It’s a trap deck at the end of the day and it’s not like “I play during your turn” is anything remotely new. The probability of turn 0 D barrier/EEV is also low because it’s based on what is in your five cards you drew.
Everytime i think does (insert deck) need more cards i remember branded / despia has gotten new cards arguably every single set for like the last 4 years they have literally 40+ cards and their still getting more which is wild because they dont need anymore other archtypea need HELP like time theif redoer which needs more support and many other smaller archtypes lab dosen't anywhere near the same amount as branded despia so i welcome more cards for them i mean fair is fair right?
Funny enough, most Lab players are calling it a 1 or 2 of actually. They don't like playing 3 D Barrier since it can cause a Brick if they don't draw Aria, and the Virus Cards do very little since they need a Lady to tribute and you can't turbo both out with Welcome.
Weird how Arias gets spoiled the same week Labrynth becomes the most popular deck on Master Duel. It's like Konami woke up one morning and said "Forget the Albaz lore, forget Vsauce Starfrost, forget Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes, we a Helltaker fangame now."
Seems like every format since tear ishizu needs a deck that is a lot stronger than the rest. If they hit kashtira, labrynth will take it's place. Why aren't they able to create balanced archetypes on a compareable powerlevel anymore.

It's level 10, it summons itself for free, and has a "if sent to GY" that doesn't specify how or from where so you can trigger it by XYZ detach.
More extenders is always nice for Trains, means you can get 2+ XYZ out more often, so you can have both Liebe to press for damage and Dora to protect it.
Also MBT missed the part of Armor Torpedo where it not only Ancient Gears on attack, but also _negates all your opponents monsters_ until the end of the damage step. And it is when the Torpedo is equipped to _another monster,_ so you can slap it on your 3500 boss monster and swing at that Avramax, and there's nothing they can do to stop you.
Not to mention the trap adds even more equip effects to it while it is attached to something.
I figured Labrynth has at least 3 more cards given the artwork of what the knight went through on her way to face the Lady. Apparently there is a lantern that flies, the butler, of course, and a shadowy woman from "Big Welcome Labrynth" that has a gargantuan pair of shears. The theory is that the woman is a gardener. There also MIGHT be a living hedge monster, like in the Stephen King book "The Shining." Basically the knight still has her work cut out for her if she wants to take on the Lady.

funny crystal deck has the exact same problem as Nouvelles. Its scope is way too fucking narrow, whereas a deck like Exosisters can still do a few other things in bad match-ups. It would have to be stapled to another archetype in deck builds, similar (again) to Nouvelles being played in Dogmatika/Mikanko.

T.g. makes hot red dragon archfiend calamity regularly. Level 2 tuner level 5 Tuner and level 5 dark dragon or higher. Gets a counter trap too. Counters if they activate the continuous spell they cannot, Kaiju the dragon, ghost ogre an activation, negate synchro 5 dragon, nibiru on end board. Otherwise pretty good.
Nah Arias is balanced by having to draw the trap in the first place. Unless you want to run multiple trap tricks or tracks and then multiples of other cards. I do see a problem with its splash-ability in a lot of trap focused strategies, but like you still have to draw the trap for this to work turn 1.
I like how splashable Arias is, gives some of the weaker trap decks something to use so they aren't already behind from the start.

Imagine what the game would have been like without MR5 that undid the zone restrictions of MR4. Salad was fun on its first turn combo bouncing between the 2 EMZ to game the linked zones. Omg that board game style of gameplay was so fun. I’m noticing that with snake eye and fire princess and Zelantis having these amazing ways to get linked zones. It’s not that heavy of a link based deck so it doesn’t even care. It’s so silly how that changed the game for a few years. If not for firewall dragon then gumblar ruining the era we would have looked at the first link format as so much fun

Don’t see Lab getting much hits as people would expect. It’s a trap deck at the end of the day and it’s not like “I play during your turn” is anything remotely new. The probability of turn 0 D barrier/EEV is also low because it’s based on what is in your five cards you drew.

Funny enough, most Lab players are calling it a 1 or 2 of actually. They don't like playing 3 D Barrier since it can cause a Brick if they don't draw Aria, and the Virus Cards do very little since they need a Lady to tribute and you can't turbo both out with Welcome.

Seems like every format since tear ishizu needs a deck that is a lot stronger than the rest. If they hit kashtira, labrynth will take it's place. Why aren't they able to create balanced archetypes on a compareable powerlevel anymore.
