When Levi gave that one soldier Petra's patch, I noticed that Levi didn't look at the soldier before he left. He just kept looking at Petra's patch. My heart broke simply because of everything Levi's put through and people still call him heartless. One is only heartless because they once cared too much.

DKYetti I think you are talking about A Choice With No Regrets!!!! :D It's a popular spinoff of Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin (sometimes referred to its subtitle "Birth of Levi") that depicts how Levi entered the Survery Corps/Scouting Legion in the first place and the tragedy that occurs when joining, probably being the cause of Levi's persistent loyalty and constant trust in Erwin. Why? Well you'll have to see the anime/read the manga to find out! ;D I'm not sure myself if it is canon, many sources say it is just inspired by the story, but others say it was supervised by Isayama (the creator of the original AoT/SnK manga) and officially approved (Jen, the founder of horizon scans, who have translated and uploaded the manga series online (just search up "horizon scans a choice with no regrets") said it was indeed canon erwvi.tumblr.com/post/75310520600/hi-im-sorry-to-bother-you-quick-question-could). It has been animated into a OVA (which you can watch here www.animeultima.io/Shingeki-no-Kyojin-Ilse-no-Techou-episode-4/) and the second one will be released this year on April 9. I hate how underrated the whole squad was. Elf, Gunther and oluo seemed almost forgotten to some people, I’m just glad some people remembered.
They're just as important and remembered by the veteran AOT fans. They deserved to be remembered.
This AMV makes me cry every time... Levi will always be my favorite character because although he has suffered so much he still fights and doesn't give up. He has all my respect.
