    Using this for over 8 years now. Made everything from pizza, breadsticks, garlic bread, fries, nuggets, quesadillas etc. NEVER once burned a thing, and you can literally plug it in right at yourfeet or on the coffee table. Easily my favorite cooking invention since the microwave. Only drawback is that I can't cook anything taller than a chicken leg. Bought my brother one years ago and both of ours still work perfectly. 10/10.

      Is there anyway you can stop the rotation for sandwiches and whatnot?

    • @clevelandcbi
      @clevelandcbi 5 років тому +25

      @@DannyboyProductions0 No, but you wouldn't want to. Weird as it sounds, it cooks equal time whether it's 1 or 4 sandwiches. The heat's intense enough that just a few passes per minute are equal to sitting in a 400° oven for a minute. Damn things like magic. If something says 15 minutes in the oven, then that's where I set this. If 350 for 15, I set it at 12 and just watch it.

    • @clevelandcbi
      @clevelandcbi 5 років тому +22

      Best feature for me is its portability. My kids and I plug it in by the couch so there's no pausing a movie or game. Another is removing things as they reach your liking where your kid wants crisper garlic bread for instance. And NOT recommended, but taking off the pan can be done with just a few napkins in each hand in under a second.

    • @clevelandcbi
      @clevelandcbi 5 років тому +12

      James was wrong about unplugging it in a way. I never unplug mine because I never need to. I store the pan with other pans so it takes up a smaller space on the shelf. Not a product out there I'd recommend higher. For singles I'd give it an 11/10. Like it better than my Foreman Grill even.

    I'm on my third one of these in the last 17 years. I wear them out, not because they're cheaply made, but because they get used at least 200 days every year. this makes any size pizza that will fit, quicker, and better than ANY OTHER OVEN, PERIOD. the only drawback is it won't fit large pizzas or square ones. but if it fits, it's the best. especially for rising crust. stuffed crust is great. it's fast, cheap to run, and makes even cheap pizzas taste better than in the oven. plus it reheats pizza better than any other method. we have learned to use it to cook almost anything over these many years. simply the best invention for the money I have ever purchased in my entire life, bar none.

    I bought one of these as an "extra" Christmas present for my then wife. When she opened it, her disappointment was mirrored by my step daughters look of disdain - they had seen it demo'd in the mall and thought it was a piece of junk! (Primary present was diamond earrings, so she wasn't upset for too long!)
    Following that, she tried it out, and suffice to say we had home-made pizza for years afterwards, all perfectly cooked, and the smell of cooking pizza is amazing!!

      @@christopherpape4823 I'm talking 20 years ago when I bought it, but essentially you can cook a frozen pizza, or even make your own, for a fraction of what it would cost to heat a conventional oven up to the required temperature. I'm a Chef by profession and people always insist on buying me kitchen gadgets for all gifts. I usually have it and don't need anymore. That being said when my kids were little maybe 9 & 10, they saw this at a store shopping with my mother and wanted to buy this for me as a Christmas gift. When I opened it of course I was very greatful that they picked it out on their own & for the gift itself. I couldn't conceive that this thing would work adequately at all. The next day we went and bought several different frozen pizzas and some refrigerated pizzas. This thing cooked EVERY PIZZA PERFECTLY. No matter the thickness, ingredients or refrigerated and frozen. In the regular oven you have to watch every pizza, every brand or it burns or you have to turn to get it to cook evenly, etc.
    * I have had this now going strong for 13 years and it's by far the best piece of equipment for cooking refrigerated & frozen pizzas of ALL kinds. Fresh handmade as well. You can't beat it. It also cooks many other things but I can't count how many pizzas this thing cooked in the last 13 years and not 1 disappointment.

Of course it would be more valuable to the person who wants to save time by not pre-heating the oven, dorm room living, or (like in my family) the mom who doesn't cook dinner on Fridays so the kids have to cook for themselves. It's not a replacement for an oven but simply a quality of life type of machinery.

    I love mine.
    Just to comment on your "cons":
    1. The tray continues to spin after the timer dings so that you dont have one edge of the pizza that gets stuck under the residual heat from the heating elements and burns. It continues to rotate to keep the entire tray warm.
    2. If you insert the tray all the way to the back, then lower it, then pull it forward, it grabs the metal lip below and aligns the tray perfect.

    I first got one of these around 2001. My mom and sister got it for me for Christmas, I thought it was the stupidest thing when I opened the box and figured I’d never use it ever. Anyway, the year is now 2024 and I still own one. Cooks pizza great, chicken nuggets / strips / popcorn chicken, that is my primary use for it and it's so easy to keep an eye on how "done" I want the food. It typically cooks a frozen pizza in the time a regular oven finishes preheating (or close). It’s a great design and works well. I’ve had a couple get broken over the years, knocked over and the plastic busted which I glued back together, a relative leaned on one and busted the tray pivot, etc., but otherwise usually get 10 year or more out of them (repaired the damage and they kept on going). Have even made some fresh home made style pizzas, including french bread pizzas, but you do have to be very mindful of the height and not let anything too close to the top element.

    I've bought it a month ago..and I love it!
    I've made everything from pizza to bread to wings (even if in the instructions they say not too!)..
    I had many doubts about this oven,but boy it did impress me..
    In the pro,add it consumes much less energy than your oven or any other gadgets you may own (and i own a lot of them)..
    A LITTLE ADVISE : don't thing you have to see your pizza,bread or sandwiches crust brown or super dark to consider it done!
    In fact,quite the opposite!

    I had 3 of these ovens the past 25 years. When my oldest child (34yrs old now) we used to have sleep overs with her friends, I would have 3 of these ovens cooking pizza, burritos, all kinds of food all night long. The kids would make custom pizzas "On Demand" , the cool thing you can do with this oven unlike your conventional oven, you can add ingredients as it cooks, no worries about opening a HOT oven. Now in 2021, I still have ONE left. Amazing product. Also great to use while camping, just use your Generator and plug this in. Hey, use at a tail-gate too. I`m going to buy another one again.

I started putting my fries I get from mcdonald's on there (especially when they are really soft or cold) and it makes them better than I receive from Mcdonald's 95% of the time. Also, if you've ever tried eating french fries out of the fridge from left overs or what-not, throwing them on the pizzaz ACTUALLY gets them back to their original glory. A must for french fry fans.

    I got one of these for a wedding gift in 2003 and it worked and lasted great until 2018. The rotating pan would stick after a few minutes so I bought another one off Amazon for around 45.00 and still works great!
    I didn’t know about the no cutting pizzas on the actual pan so I’ve been doing something wrong 🤨
    This thing works great with heating frozen chicken and buffalo strips and frozen fries and tator tots. Put on pan together and run for the full 20 mins on dual. This actually re heats leftover pizza or cold fries perfectly as well. Reheat for about 8 mins.

    My parents bought one of these a number of years back. I wasn't much into pizzas (and these days I rarely do) but back then this was one of the best ways to make frozen pizzas. And I guess it could also make fresh ones but we never really did that. Also cooked cookies on it a few times too. Seems kinda weird in how it looks and kinda takes up space but it really does seem to work. I think we ended up buying a second one for another room in the house to make pizzas instead of having to go really far to use the other one.

    The reason there is no power switch is for safety. The tray needs to keep spinning until the coils cool down. It is meant to keep a single spot from burning up for being stationairy between the coils too long. Also it is a warning to those around that it was recently used and may still be hot. I let mine spin for about 5 minutes even after i take the stuff off the tray. I love making seasoned fries on it.

      What most people are forgetting is that there is a bottom element heating the pan. It gets very hot and continues to heat and cook from the bottom up as it is always exposed to the heat. It's why you flip the sandwich because the bottom is cooking faster.
      Also when cooking pizza you can control the crispiness of the crust by switching off the bottom a few minutes early for a softer crust.
      Just experiment, the thing just works.

      The description on Amazon lists energy usage as a selling point, claiming up to 60% less power consumption compared to a conventional oven. 120 volts, 60 hz only, 1235 watts.

      what about compared to a toaster oven. this doesn't exactly cook as much food as a full regular oven

    • @joeMW284
      @joeMW284 4 роки тому

      It's comparable to a toaster oven. It's probably technically not as efficient as a full oven... however if all you're cooking is one frozen pizza, the pizzazz would likely be more economical. The pizzazz doesn't need to heat a large volume of air to work effectively.

    Oh my god....I remember my family having one like this when I was a child. It was fun to watch the pizza get cooked as it spins. I would like to have one of these again but I've moved on to use a pizza stone so i don't need it that much.

    • @92ASC
      @92ASC 5 років тому +1

      I got a pizza stone for Christmas but I havent had much luck with it. I only buy frozen pizzas and they don't seem to do very well on it. Not sure if I'm just not using it right or what. And they say you aren't supposed to pre heat it either with frozen pizzas due to it cracking from thermal shock. The crust ends up coming out too doughy for my liking

    Got one as a gift over 5 years ago. Use it weekly to this day. Stays on the counter 24/7. Not sure why but it makes pizza better. We have a large family and have to use the oven alongside the pizza spinner. The pizza spinner always produces far above average frozen pizza.
