I mean all of them have faced hardships in the entertainment industry so they can empathize with Ciipher. Especially Eunwoo he was always criticised for not being up to par with the other trainees. In all likelihood the reason why the company was willing to spend so much effort on him was probably because of his face. So he can understand the struggle of not being good enough at singing, dancing etc.

Tan is a year older than Eunwoo. He's a '96 liner and trained to be an idol for 11 years. He was a contestant on No Mercy, the show that formed Monsta X using his birth name Choi Seokwon. After the show, he went to the military for 2 years and after serving, he continued to train to be an idol. So if you know Tan, it's quite unbelievable and at the same time heart-breaking when he said he can't do it anymore because irl he's been enduring and practicing all these years to make a debut. So happy that he finally got to debut in Ciipher with his 6 precious brothers Hyunbin, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan and Won. I hope he gets an acting role in the future too. OMG I had no idea he was in no mercy, I was scared of feeling bad for the eliminated members so I didn't watch the show and I just focused on stanning the debuted members, that being Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M.
Also, I think it adds up to the reason why he felt touched and about to cry when seung gi comforted him-like what he said. From all the experiences tan had before debuting, he must really appreciated what seungi had said to him❤️

Honestly this show does wonders for Eunwoo. It shows the more relatable and human side of him that people tend to overlook because of his visuals.

Another one of the many reasons why I love Cha Eunwoo. He is always so genuine/sincere. I used to wonder why was he on the phone during this episode but I was like maybe he has different schedule as to why he is texting or what but after this episode, i found out that he was taking notes. He is indeed dedicated and he knows how to help. His parents really raised him well and I hope that he remains the same. He is such a good guy, more than a pretty face indeed.
10:41 Dong Hyun wiped the corner of his eyes. He mentioned that he was tearing up because he really felt heartbroken for the boys. He is such a big softie and a teddy bear. I started watching the show for Seung Gi and I ended up loving all of them. This episode showed their real side and I am so happy to see it. They are compassionate, empathetic and respectful even to the younger generation.

I love how SeungGi handled it. He is well-balanced. He was calming, Rain. He was encouraging Ciipher. He was also listening to their song as he was not too focused on dancing. It was not his forte, but Eun Woo did that. Then, he wanted to save the filming, doing what needed to be done. He felt the emotions but didn't let them affect the work.
At 06:34, comforting one of the members, crouching on the floor. 07:08 the blue cardigan and green striped sweater are crying. 07:41 Eun Woo positioning himself between the Seniors and Ciipher as if to be a safety barrier. 😍🙏
This prank only showed how kind Eun Woo is! He even made his own list of advice to give to Cipher! He was so affected! I even noticed how he gave his seat to Sung-rok when the food arrived. He was seated next to Sung-gi but he transferred to a seat beside Dong-hyun as a sign of respect to Sung-rok. How kind of him! I really love this kid! The whole cast of Master in the House is so kind and empathic, they never stopped encouraging the group especially Tan. Rain's acting was superb!
I can't imagine all of the members' anxiety. I mean, I'm just watching and already feeling anxious. How much more these boys would feel? They just debuted and definitely went through a lot :((
Yup. In this case, they will felt more because when this shooting, they not debut yet... and most of them been training in other company which selection for debuting member maybe more hard.. for example the x-trainee of YGe (sorry, I only know about YGe system...)
Ooh it definitely brought them to the worst of the worst things they can imagine. But guess what? It’s all a fake scenario and they have tasted what it feels like to fail. It’s kinda like vaccine, being exposed to the weaker version of the virus so the antibodies trained and prepared for the real virus. This weaker virus (the worst case they can imagine, but turns out doesn’t have any real consequences) will train their mental and has some preparation in case the real deal happens to them.
And like eunwoo said, this experience is equal to 10 music shows. Heck with the prank, it’s also equal too 100 other shows as well. They have a big jumpstart just because of this one episode. Exposure, connection, experience, mental preparation, and professionalism. And most of them are positive! The way they all cried at the end shows how close they are to each other (as some groups really keep their relationship just a work friend). Connection to a big senior in the field. Experience to do the best they can in front of influential people. Mental preparation for the worst case scenario. Lastly, being professional in front of the camera. And they are still haven’t debuted yet when the show was recorded. Even groups that has just debuted probably dying to get this kind of experience.
Having said all of that, unfortunately, this kind of things still happens in many workplace. Even worse, add more cursing and morally degrading words. And happens more than once a day. I heard it’s especially tough in korea and japan, as this is what is expected if you want to work.
All in all, i hope they become a successful group.
All kpop trainees went thru hell, i dont know them but i feel sorry for those guys esp this prank will give them trauma esp those who shed tears. They stand there and continue being embarrassed by MITH cast im sure theh wont forget this prank. Rain needs to console those guys properly. 😌

I really want to pinpoint this things in this episode of MITH... (basically one of the best ep for me lol hshsjajjsjsja)
1. All HOSTS (Eunwoo, Seunggi, Sungrok, Donghyun and Sehyung) are so PROFESSIONAL. We surely see that even in the other parts of the episode where the prank goes on. They always try to lighten up the mood as well as they never fail to cheer up the boys of Ciipher.

2. Seunggi is such an amazing hyung to everyone, especially when he really sympathized to Tan and the way he cheered up Ciipher. He even talk to Rain about what to do and he reflects everything that he had encountered to the boys so that their mood will lighten up a bit and for them to keep encouraged.

Kudos to all the Masters! I've been re-watching the show multiple times and I just noticed at 6:36 that Eun-woo even comforted one of Ciipher member who broke down. Now I know why I love the show even before. How can you not root for a show that has good people in it?
When I first saw Cha Eunwoo, I didn't think much of him and thought he was just another handsome idol, boy was I wrong! Watching episodes of Master in the House and other videos of him really turned me into his fan. He is special and even more handsome and manly now that he's older, if that's even possible! He's smart, diligent, athletic, talented, genuine, honest and straightforward to a fault and isn't afraid to show you what he really thinks even if you're famous and powerful, as shown here when he gave Rain the cold shoulder. So watching this episode I thought, ok he has all the traits of an Aries and must be, so I checked his BD and yep he is. He's just so perfect, it's scary! Aries are very thoughtful and loyal as hell, his wife is going to be the luckiest woman alive!!!

Rewatching this for the last time. I’m sad for Ciipher especially Tan. I watched this late and they already debut. I looked for their content but there’s really nothing much. They had a good exposure even before debut, it was sad they didn’t capitalized on it. I hope the members will still have bright futures wherever life may lead them.
