In short, please do make a come back to politics. We need leaders like you, qualified & think tank that can plan for our country . Singapore is so advanced after 1965 because they have highly educated leaders. Malaysia need qualified leader like you Dr Ong Kian Ming.

Another point to add on top of what Dr Ong Kian Ming mentioned about Lawrence Wong. As a Singaporean, One of the reason why he was selected to be PM is his leadership abilities to manage COVID-19. He stood out above the rest of the ministers.
The test of leadership comes when the leader has to make a TOUGH decision that could make or break him.

Looks like the only person who could spell the word Rubbish successfully is Yourself.. You may have time to waste but waste none of mine.

Please consider coming to Penang. Penang needs a better CM like OKM. Penang deserves more highly educated politicians with valuable corporate experience. The lineup of the exco members is impacting Penang's progressiveness, leading to negative impacts when capable leaders to collaborate with MNCs are lacking. This erosion is already shaking confidence in DAP around here. We cannot solely depend on a government or ADUNs comprised entirely or 90% of grassroots politicians lacking a solid educated or corporate background, especially in an economically critical and highly industrialized state with foreign investors. DAP appears to be facing a shortage of talented individuals or may not be recruiting as many elites as it did in the past 15 years.
OKM will have a tough time getting supports from others because LGE team will skinned them.

i think the problem is because of the mindset we cultivated from our lousy politicians and i think because of also the brain drain due to our culture in malaysia which doesn't appreciate hard work or smart work.

Why go into the details? Just increase agriculture produces rather than importing them. We have good weather of sun and rain and lots of unused land.What are the plans of the Agriculture Minister to increase food production? Two years have gone by since Unity Govt. took over and food prices have inflated with our shrinking ringgit.Even garlic, onions, rice are imported and shortages are experienced. .

Its very hard to change a culture overnight, it takes strong leadership, dedication and 100% commitment to do so and even when u achieve it care and attention must be taken to ensure bad habits and incorruptible new leaders get recruited and brought in and this effort takes years and decades especially when it is so entrenched into the culture, the political system and in the mindset and habits of the people.

And what was Loke doing about the poor deplorable, shameful KTM Commuter service. And the KVDT project went on 10 years and is still not complete. It still delays travel by train. Loke is always quiet on this. Again shameful. 😊

Steven Sim is a very good candidate for Penang CM
that is actually a good idea, big chow isn't bad as a cm but he didn't really do as much for us compared to lim guan eng, but that is also considering that chow didn't have much to do compared to lim in terms of improving us (bar the new tram lrt thing, which imo can really help alleviate our traffic jam)
for me, as long as penang is under dap/ph rule, we are satisfied

Steven Sim is one of the good "face" for DAP. He is one of the most progressive in DAP and young with great ideas.
But sadly, i can confirm with my life, he WILL NEVER get chosen by DAP to become CM for Penang because the DAP Penang people alot are those very conservative type and will only elect the "chinese-chinese" type only. Basically DAP Penang are like UMNO grassroot😂
You can see from our current CM and previous CM of Penang outlook and style.
He will make a good CM to lead Penang to progress. Present CM is not pragmatic enough to make changes.
Singapore have their own cons in upholding corruption integrity status as much as Malaysia is..Some cases happening inside Singapore are not actually transparent, while their marketing is great...The grass is always greener on the other side, from both ends.. Neutrally on the reality is that, living cost is on the horizon, regardless how high your country patriotism is..just a thought...Nothing much to be proud off...Overglorification is not good for any higher rulling government authority by downplaying that the fault is often at general citizens of a country..

The staple diet in europe & england changed because of a period known as the little ice age. Growing season were drastically reduced & growing wheat became impossible. Societies that had depended on wheat had perished....many died while those who had grown potatoes had managed to survive. This was during the maunder minimum.
In the US the situation was slightly different. While wheat was no longer viable rice in the southern part of the country was. Rice became a survival crop. This was how many recipes for making rice bread was formulated & eaten widely.
These litle ice ages come and go in predictable cycles....we are now at the start of the next little ice age. Diversifying our food base - not only rice - is a sound strategy ; if the madani government is not sleeping.

I really enjoyed this channel but unfortunately you guys quoted and referenced too often to KS. And it sometime your discussion topic is similar to KS, but of course given both channels are discussion of current politically landscape, naturally it will have overlapping and similar topic. But unfortunately because of such, you unintentionally always quoted and referenced to their content or/and guest. So it make this channel like second fiddle to KS. Looking at our state of economy and turmoil, i somehow prefer under the corrupted Najib's time than under PH now.

Really, how different is DAP leadership from MCA , say in MOT? Of course, BN had been abusive as a matter of its practice since UMNO, MIC and MCA headed MOT when the Minister of the day would appoint to the Boards of Penang, Port Klang and Johor Port all their political cronies; many couldn't speak properly. Today, DAP is doing likewise, although they are smart enough to appoint someone who are better educated but he is still a known supporter of DAP with vested individual interests. We have to admit , in spite all the proclamations, vested interests are still the guiding direction.
