The thumbnail is awesome in my opinion, and definitely grabbed my attention. Also your videos on product execution were incredibly helpful recently and I can't thank you enough!
so glad it's been helpful in your journey so far!
Great video and amazing analysis! Thanks for the hard work and helping break down the numbers!
Glad you enjoyed it! I was afraid there was too much numbers in the video haha
Thank you, Dianna! This was Great!
Glad it was helpful!
Whoa, 10 hours a day as a product manager and working on the weekend.
I’m a fellow PM and I work 7.5hours.
There is something wrong at your company if that’s expected.
@Aaron what's so surprising ? Tech companies or IT in general everyone works long hours on any given day plus weekends atleast 4-5 hours to get to emails etc. and plan for the next week etc..
Not sure where you working at !!!
I’ve worked at FB as a product manager. Not sure where you work.
Good video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Let me know if other questions came up while watching the video that I can answer in another video!
How would you say salaries at startups would compare to FAANG companies for PM roles? I am working as a data analyst at a startup and am interested in transitioning into an APM role there
that's a great question...! Depends on which startup but i'd guess less, though i'm not sure by how much
A lot of people work in startups shoot for the stock options. If the company goes IPO, you're looking at 10x, 100x+ the values. FAANG are stable, they will never fail.
@@amylovescoffee4759 Good point Amy, would say startups are high risk high reward with startups...have heard of people who were able to retire after a startup IPOd, but that's the exception versus most startups don't necessarily have the 10-100x factor. With FAANG it's probably low risk, medium reward which most people are ok settling for. Psychology tells us people tend towards lost aversion and even prioritize it over gain.
Base!
