How often did guys put foliage in their helmets? I got a picture of my gramps (at I think Khe Sahn) 3rd marine division. He’s also got a lotta gear on him too.
Lol, poor guy. "No" seems to be the answer your looking for not even getting past him being startled by a cat saying hey. I'm surprised that anyway back to video
@@kevinbooth2043 If you heard how shrill the cat screeches to say "hey", you'd jump too. Especially when he comes around the corner super fast and does it. Sudden noises that I"m not expecting make me jump lol.
The makarov would have totally been used in Vietnam, now I know the whole “i saw it in a video game so it must be true” thing is bullshit but the game “rising storm 2 Vietnam” pays massive attention to realism and they added the gun as a PAVN and late war NLF weapon and I trust them to get that right

What the report does not say how many were there, but it shows that they were there, and pretty early on in the conflict. The report is a bit confusing, as it does not list for example the Mosin rifle, or any WWII weapons save for for '7.62 submachine gun' for some reason.
From what I've seen, the PAVN used them in significant numbers later in the war (mostly post-'72) though the Pathet Laos in neighboring Laos used them much more and earlier.
I've seen a type 99 rifle brought back from Vietnam .
We'll get there...
Poland also sent pm 63 Rak "PDW"
Would the tokarev tt-33 been the most common used or there wasn’t a common, it was all just mixed up?
They were definitely used, but it was more random/mixed up, especially with the VC forces.

Cool video the skorpion had me suprised
The rubys might have been just mistaken
I guess the Czech CZ52 pistol chambered in 7,62X25 would have been supplied in numbers as well?
How often were makarov's used by the NVA and VC?
Answer is in the video.
@Christian Morgan Exactly.
@Christian Morgan If you can't figure out that you answered your own question, I don't know how to help you.

Yeah, no. Video games are not a valid source for this sort of stuff, no matter how "right" you think they got it, that game has a lot of mistakes.
But again, it very well could have been, I have just never seen any evidence at all on it.

Good job! Keep after it!👍
I saw a video made by another youtubber who had a crudely made NVA copy of our browning 1911
If you watch the end of my vid, I mention those types of pistols...
That's a forgotten weapons episode if that's the one you saw, better than I thought cosmetically anyway
Lol and of course he mentioned fw during the homemade gun part... I feel so helpful
I seen that video, the things I'd do to get my hands on one
Why not just say communist forces?
To make it more specific
You really like "playing" army, don't you.
Yeah, almost as much as when I was actually "Playing Army" in Iraq in 2009-2010.
