My hubby had it pretty tough with each of our 4 kids.. I hate being touched when in labor so he was there solely to be the ice chip boy. I would just turn my face to him, grunt, and open my mouth. He had pretty good aim but heaven help him if he missed that flick of ice. He's been traumatized ever since. brought me to tears for like five times during video.. I had to take some breaks because I wasn't emotionally strong enough to watch it in one sitting! you're very very strong.
After 5 hours of pushing my husband (now ex-) muttered, “Boy, do my feet hurt..” A hush fell over the room. I’m sure it was a sympathetic moment of commiseration from new dads everywhere.
You sir....are the bravest man I know! And telling your story, and making it public, will really help others who are too ashamed (very wrongly) about the trauma they went through. I was WEEPING at the end of this. Kudos to you sir, kudos!
We really need more brave men like you to come forward and talk about their child birth pain more often. It’s all to easy to forget how hard it is for us, while she just lays there on that comfy bed.
Anna McCaughey - I don't think that would have happened, seeing as that was the precursor of the tragic events that _How to Dad_ recounted in this video.
Wow thank you for sharing this. As a woman who gave birth twice I feel so bad and I am so sorry to my husband for not supporting him twice. He should divorce me
Never Ever Ever listen to these Dad's stories as I'm drinking my morning coffee! Let's talk about equal rights for my computer screen, now! You made my day, mate! Thank you ^^ (Hi to all your family from France)
You have hope! Equality is creeping in! When I was doing my thing and there weren’t any staff in the room I offered my husband some of the gas to share. Helped him a lot. Actually helped him a little too much, he felt all giddy. Weird, because it was barely taking the edge off for me. But it’s a start.
This content is golden. My hubs definitely felt this one lmao. I mean it was only 2 dislocated fingers but anyone would of thought he was pushing a human out of his body 😂😂😂 love this.

Oh that’s sad you felt ignored. Without the men the woman wouldn’t be in that sort of comfort you described . I really hope they do sort something out. I recall my brother sleeping on the floor when my sister in law had her baby. It’s a distressing time for both parties. Plus no one enjoys seeing their loved ones in pain . It make you suffer too. Great video, God bless you
Thank you for your video . I have due date of our first baby in just one month and I haven’t think so far about how hard It is for dad 😊. I promise I will not push his hand so hard when the D day comes and prepare some snack and panadol in advance for him 😉
