      @@LindaPerry_337 Don't forget the moment it all happened. The video must have been traumatizing to go through that all over again, but the actual life changing moment, that damage was done, needs to be recognized.

    I had a c-section for a grade 4 placenta previa. The hospital used my operation as a teaching exercise. I lost 1.5 litres of blood and the surgeon got applauded at the end. My story pales in comparison to the trauma you suffered 😂

      This just came up in my recommended videos so I didn't know he's from New Zealand (I thought he was Australian tbh), that kinda explains why his manner of storytelling reminded me so much of 'What We Do in the Shadows' :)

    My hubby had it pretty tough with each of our 4 kids.. I hate being touched when in labor so he was there solely to be the ice chip boy. I would just turn my face to him, grunt, and open my mouth. He had pretty good aim but heaven help him if he missed that flick of ice. He's been traumatized ever since. There really needs to be a voice for the birthing partners in the world and I'm thrilled you're bringing awareness to the subject. #PartnersLaborToo

    brought me to tears for like five times during video.. I had to take some breaks because I wasn't emotionally strong enough to watch it in one sitting! you're very very strong.

    After 5 hours of pushing my husband (now ex-) muttered, “Boy, do my feet hurt..” A hush fell over the room. I’m sure it was a sympathetic moment of commiseration from new dads everywhere.

    You sir....are the bravest man I know! And telling your story, and making it public, will really help others who are too ashamed (very wrongly) about the trauma they went through. I was WEEPING at the end of this. Kudos to you sir, kudos!

    You have hope! Equality is creeping in! When I was doing my thing and there weren’t any staff in the room I offered my husband some of the gas to share. Helped him a lot. Actually helped him a little too much, he felt all giddy. Weird, because it was barely taking the edge off for me. But it’s a start.

    Oh that’s sad you felt ignored. Without the men the woman wouldn’t be in that sort of comfort you described . I really hope they do sort something out. I recall my brother sleeping on the floor when my sister in law had her baby. It’s a distressing time for both parties. Plus no one enjoys seeing their loved ones in pain . It make you suffer too.     Thank you for your video . I have due date of our first baby in just one month and I haven’t think so far about how hard It is for dad 😊. I promise I will not push his hand so hard when the D day comes and prepare some snack and panadol in advance for him 😉
