This video has helped me a lot, I have been reading pictures to make my scene more beautiful, so I spent a lot of time to shader, while I didn't know much about blueprints, I want to learn more about blueprints through your video, I will pay attention to you often from now on
You need it to cast every loop to it gets the players updated position. If you dont it will only move to one location and then won't know where the player is after that
Im having a hard time integrating this into my game, note this is my first ue5 project. The enemy doesnt appear to move despite the player not looking at it
This video really helped but I suggest having a walkthrough going through each step from scratch. That way we know exactly what to do. Thanks anyways :D
hey, I know I am late but do you have any fix when I look at it, it stops but it flickers it moves and stops for example it keeps saying No Yes No Yes No Yes
This has been helpful to get the overall feature to work however I notice the enemy is 'Ticking' even though I'm looking at it which defeats the purpose for me. I need the enemy to be completely still not tick closer to me. Do you have a fix for that?
Now it would be great a tutorial for when it catches you, it attacks you... I have a full functional health system for the player, but I can't make it work with another tutorial of an enemy AI attacking the player :/
i found that if you go to your ai class default and search rotation go to the bottom and tern off use controller rotation yaw and only have use controller desired rotation it will stop the ai from terning when your looking at it, this worked for me
Bro your increasing thirst video is NOT working. accessednone error is a frustration. and you havent even showed how to drain health when hunger or thirst hits zero. when you start something just finish it lmao
Sadly the survival videos didnt get a lot of attention. If the increasing thirst video isnt working for you jump into the discord and show me the code im happy to help get it working. As for continuing the series i will if people show more interest but i will eventually be covering it in this FPS series anyway so im more for combining that survival series into this one.
''If you did this in a multiplayer setting, it would be so fun''
Bro predicted Letal Company...

Glad you found it helpful :)
I've wanted a tutorial for this for ages for my horror game!
I hope it helps you get the effect you after 😁
Great Tutorial! But I think casting to player in the function will cast every single time it loops, I guess casting in BeginPlay is a good choice

Big Thanks for this tip !
Happy to help!
Much better than my script. Thx
i have a problem that the animation on moving doesn' t play and i dont know why

Love the video! Is there a way to make this so it only effects some or 1 of the enemies in my game? Currently it just effects everyone

Mine doesnt move at all maybe try playing around with the variables to get a better result maybe 🤔
yeahh mine does the same even when looking at it it still moves everu tick
@PuniieGodx @jonnylcbs1245 @ue5bpguru538 Hello, have you found a way to solve the problem? thanks
Now what i do to make him move when i dont look ate him? I watched a lot of videos and nothing works
@OAntoin99867 just return the value back to what it was.

does this replicate well?
It might take a little bit of extra replication of variables but yeah it should do
great video! Is there a way so that the ai won't rotate while still looking at it?
Did you find the solution
