Have you heard Norway 2011? That's the OG African Vibe entry. This entry really reminds me of it, hopefully this can do that song it's deserved justice and get a really, really high result
@@sktzn6829 Yeah Haba Haba is good (still can't believe it didn't qualify) but it's something you'd hear more from other regions in Africa like Kenya while East African countries like Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia have a certain sound to their music that Feker Libi captures very well while also fusing it with Middle Eastern elements.

I'll tell you why this song should win. Eurovision is all about bringing your ethnicity and your country's culture to the song in the contest. And Israel definatly does that in Feker Libi. Israel is a Westen-modern country, so there's a pop music in there. And Israel is a mediterrenian country, so there's an orient-arabic music there. And the singer is from an Ethiopian family, so there's an African groovy beat in the song. And it is all combined so beautifully in such harmonic way. After hearing the other songs in the contest, Feker Libi is like... An ice cream in the summer: Cool, sweet, refreshing, different, energetic and... Just fun! I hope Eden will win, she deserves this sooooo much.
Some context about this song: Eden is an Ethiopian Jew, one of the most unique, rich in culture, and underrepresented Jewish communities in Israel. The song's name, Feker Libi, means "my heart's love" or "my heart's desire" in Amharic, the language spoken in Ethiopia. During the chorus, Eden sings the same sentence in Arabic (حبيب قلبي - Habib Al'bi) and Hebrew (אהוב ליבי - Ahuv Libi) followed by אותך אני אוהבת (Otkha Ani Ohevet) meaning "You are the one I love." This is meant to embody Eden's own heritage and culture, and Israel as a whole. זו תגובה יפה מכאן. שווה לשתף

Israel or Italy for the win. Just wow 😍
Very right.
I've been to Africa before; this Israeli entry captures what that continent's music is all about! 💛
One of the song writers (and composers, they did both) had two albums of Ethiopian vibe music, and he's famous in Israel for his ethnic music. He knows what he's doing... And Eden delivers.
@Maw 3615054 Well, yeah, how is that contradicting anything :D
@Maw 3615054 She is actually falasha so she is a jewish.
Thanks Israel for bringing something original and fresh this year, Eden is also such an amazing artist. Best of luck from Germany

Best song so far 👏👏👏
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner here!
Go israel!! 🇮🇱❤️ Top 3 for me!! Greetings from greece 🇬🇷♥️🇮🇱
Angel P. King thank you very much🙏🇮🇱🇬🇷
Please tell me, why Greece is always giving 12 point to Cyprus and Cyprus give 12 points to Greece? I have to know 😅
@@lizibriskin4539 because we are the same nation we are both Greeks and we have the same habits.....so we have also the same taste of music!Kisses from Cyprus😘🇨🇾
@@georgeoriginals7506 thank you for explaining! Wish you all the best at eurovision 💖

Peace , love and 12 pts to Israel in ESC 🙏❤
Finally a song just doesn't hurt my ears.
So far I think israel is the best.
I wouldn't mind it if this won the whole thing honestly, that's probably my fave Israeli entry (maybe along with Made Of Stars) . . . The way that they combined the African tribal sounds with the Israeli elements and the fact that she's feeling the song, she IS the song, is just brilliant. Good Luck Israel from Greece!!
tnx from tel aviv good luck to greece i love your song supergirl
@@zeevmon1 much love 😊

My top 3, hi from Malaysia..! :) 😍
1- Israel (Winner) 😍
2- Spain (Amazing)
3- Ukraine (Art)
Omg a Malaysian fan 😍 I’m a Malaysian too!
Definitely one of my favourites this year. It's got everything - fun, upbeat, ethnic, multilingual and catchy! Well done Israel! Good Luck Eden Alene!
What a shame this won't get to be performed on the big stage this year. It's great news that she'll be back for 2021 though!
I feel really sad now that Eurovision is cancelled, I wish they move the date so we still can watch it, this is probably one of my favourite songs
I love it, it's a very good song, and she is very good. Congratulations Israel for the election, and good luck, greetings from Spain🇪🇸❤️
Thank you ♥️🙏
My fav country! Thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Greetings from Serbia to magnificent Israel, 12 points 🇷🇸🇮🇱 ❤️❤️❤️

russia ?
I hope she comes back in 2021.
She will, it has been confirmed
With another song in 4 languages hopefully
@@selina5598 sadly, probably not. The sonng that will probably be sent will be "Roots" which won second pleace in the vote when people decided which song to send. A shame, really, because we would've definitely made it to top 5 with this song
@@Netalula0707 lol where did you get this BS from?? They can't send roots even if they want, because it'll be over a year since this song was published, and it's against the rules. She will go with a new song!
Boricua!!?? 🙄 🤔 😂 👍 Saludos desde España
🇮🇱🇮🇸🇱🇹🇺🇦 top 4 right now in no order.
🇷🇸 and🇦🇺 can fight it out for the 5th spot.
Honorable mentions to 🇬🇧🇳🇴🇧🇪🇵🇱🇭🇷
If Eleni is the Jennifer Lopez Mediterranean of Eurovision , Eden Alene is the Shakira of Eurovision
Eden is black though. Bad comparison
@@SexyGreek92 colour doesn't matter 😏
Rihanna
Perdona. But in the hips of shakira has more funny and sexy that her in that body
This is going to be rememberable at Eurovision!
Rather Afrovision
Чайный чайник для чая celebrate diversity
honestly pretty average pop
Чайный чайник для чая What are you talking about lol Eden isn’t an illegal immigrant
@@Skorpio994 you were talking about diversity for Europe. Stop promoting globalism here, it's a threat for national interests for any country.
I wish Israel send this song in 2021. Eden would have been in the top 5. It's overloaded with cuteness, it has this amazing ethnic sound. This is just a masterpiece. I am adicted to this, sorry to say, but not to set me free. I love her vocals, she's amazing, but this song is just so much better.
Saldy they can't cause of the ebu
Mazal tov! Israel you like giving such good songs to the eurovision it so great! You have such a good chance to win
