I'm not even excited. I am just bracing myself for disappointment. I have never felt that way about this show, even when they gutted me emotionally. I am still hoping that I can somehow be pleasantly surprised. They said that they love to take people by surprise. I just don't see how it can happen. It's so rushed. :(
Exactly...I'm absolutely open to being pleasantly surprised, and I know that no matter what happens, I'll at least be treated to some incredible performances. However, I'm worried that even a perfect and satisfying episode that answers questions we've been asking for years won't change the fact that this season is too rushed. In a sense, it's kind of perfect...the story will have a bittersweet ending and we'll be left to process our own bittersweet feelings about the way the tale was concluded. Symmetry! :)
Bunyip Attack yes exactly.. just like real life! In real life sometimes things feel rushed and sometimes people we love leave with shitty to no explaination because they have different experiences that we can’t even comprehend.. I’m finding it easy to just watch whatever happens as long as I keep this mind set lol 🤗
Wow can’t wait.. What if she tries to burn John but then he doesn’t burn and everyone knows he’s a Targaryen? Orrrr what if she’s gonna slay them all for Treason but then Brans eyes roll back into white and then just as she says Dracarys, Drogons eyes turn white from being Wharged by Bran and he takes over? 😁

@Ogami Saw this comment last night and forgot to respond...thanks for saying exactly what I was going to say. :) Even if you haven't read the books or studied up on GRRM's many clarifications, the show made it clear with Viserys's death via molten gold.
We have seen Jon get burned by a lantern during his first encounter with a wight at the wall. He isn't fire proof, but I doubt dumb and dumber can remember that far back anyway so they will probably give him some fucking fire immunity out of nowhere. No consistency, no logic with this show anymore.
