WOW! A huge CONGRATULATIONS! What nice looking boat (MY). It is exactly what the “on Fire Family “ needs. Just big enough for everyone to move around and not to large to move around when motoring. Really like the swim platform. Again congratulations, we know this has relieved a lot of pressure. Now just start your “Loop” planning.

Regarding any boat ice-maker, be _VERY_ sure that all of the water lines are PERFECTLY clean. Otherwise, use a Berkey filter and regular ice trays. The specs I read on a 2000 model rather surprised me, the photos looked like the boat was taller than 15'6" to the top of the anchor light, the specs said it was 15'4" !
Yes. Good point about the ice! I think it is a pretty short boat but we will verify exact bridge clearance for sure.
Congratulations. Looks like a nice boat. Similar to our Carver 396, which we enjoy but with an extra cabin. I couldn't tell if it has a lower helm. Likely not necessary with the full canvas. We just have one helm. I would concur with the idea to route out the counter at the sink and put in a dual rectangular type. Have fun planning the next steps.

After your visit to the boat, you can provide pics and info about engines, generator, battery banks and thruster. We have your UA-cam channel on our computer and tablet speed dials. This will facilitate tracking your transit of the Trent- Severn Waterway when you are on the Loop. The T- S is our home for 4 months of the year aboard Prowess, a 9M Cooper Yachts Prowler aft-cabin fly-bridge . Regards, Prowess (Atherley, Ontario).

Bravo! Looks like a fine boat for your needs. Great separate spaces so everyone can spread out a bit. You may have to be inventive about galley stowage -- not many cabinets in the photos. But perhaps you can stash stuff under the dinette seats. What kind of power? Are the electronics reasonably modern? There is an excellent Great Loop video blog by a couple doing the loop for the second time in their Cruisers -- maybe What Yacht to do?
Will be interested to hear performance figures after your sea trial. How does engine/generator/mechanical access look? Congrats on the boat!
Thank you, John! Yes, galley may be small but there is tons of storage everywhere on this boat. Power is Volvo TAMD74P's and passed our diesel surveyors careful inspection and clean oil analysis. Electronics are modern enough for our purposes and have a few new bells and whistles (radar, AIS, cameras, etc.). Access is through a large hatch in the salon floor (not a walk-in engine room for sure) but we'll make it work!

Hope to meet you guys somewhere along the loop. The Freighter carrying my Fleming just cleared the Panama Canal on Sat. It’s supposed to be offloaded at the port of Miami on Wednesday. After she clears customs, she’ll be taken to Burr Yacht sales for post delivery detailing and installation of her Navigation Electronics and other items. I plan on her commissioning party on the 22nd of Apr. Wanting to start heading North on the Loop by May 1st. Look for me & “Missed Opportunities”.

Are you starting in Mobile or the UP?
The boat sits in St. Louis now. We'll move on it in June, head north to the Great Lakes for the summer and then start back down the rivers in the fall on a "normal" schedule. Fall=Rivers, Winter=Gulf, Florida, Keys, Bahamas, Spring = East Coast, Summer = New York, Hudson, Erie Canal, and Great Lakes again. We'll do another video with a trip overview soon.
