In 1593 my 10th great grandfather, George Keith founded Marischal College. That college merged with King's College in 1860 to form the University of Aberdeen. Grandfather Keith would be proud of the progress of the University.

I lived in Aberdeen all my life, and never knew the history of the University. Thanks for opening my eye to an amazing part of local history.
