Had a Guyatone LG-85T bought in Japan in 1965 and brought over to the States. It was my first guitar. Had it and played it for over 40 years. Understand "Brownsville Station" the rock band-the lead guitarist played one.(Kent). I think he played it on "Smoking in the Boys Room" in the '80's.
Had one of these that my mother bought for me in Japan in 1965.
I LOVE your playing man!
My First guitar
vatch 23, we were using a Fulltone OCD for that later part….
Thanks dude!
I don't know, I never thought about selling that one before. But lately my mantra is I'll sell anything for a good offer. I don't want to get too attached to anything, to avoid becoming a hoarder!! We did a video of that Ural, it's up here on UA-cam
nice slide solo!
Thank you Koji san!
Fun-sounding playing. Useable tone, Too - Lots of these old guitars have tone that shouldn't be scoffed at. What was that circular guitar next to the red one?
That's a Kawai Banjitar!! Looks like a banjo, but it's actually an electric guitar.
Sweet sounding guitar. My brother has a LG-85T guitar, red and silver with white pickups, maple and cherrywood neck with ivory inlays. Any idea what this one may price around?
Thanks. Perhaps I should've commented here too that I found the video of you demonstrating it, But now some future viewers can go right to that video quicker if they want.
You could always sell it to me!!
I feel like I’m always chasing intonation on mine, maybe it’s because I’m running 9-42
Prolly in the $200-$250 range, give or take.
Those aren't crazy rare. They were made from 63-66.
