Found out about his passing yesterday while going through some old memories and finding a photo from their world tour in 2019. I sent it to my friend and asked her if she wants to repeat this one day when they go on tour abroad again. A few hours later, while google searching some news about them, I heard that he's gone. I couldn't stop crying. The GazettE was part of my childhood. I haven't known them for as long as some other fans but it's been almost six years. 😭

隣で話しかけた方がこのMVに参加できたと、お話を聞くことができました。
未だに彼が居ないステージを思い出すと、胸がぎゅっと締め付けられて苦しくなります。
もうじきこの世からいなくなって2ヶ月…あっという間のような、まだ、という感覚のような不思議な気持ちです。
れいたくんがthe GazettEを好きになるきっかけの人物でした、と語っても過言では無いくらい、本当に好きでした。
悲しい気持ちは拭えませんが、きっとこれからもライブには足を運びます。
アルバム、楽しみにしていますね。
そして、どうかメンバーの皆様ご自愛ください。

A japanese chorus in a metal song just hits different. Usually clean vocals don't fit in music like this but japanese cleans are built different.
Didn't Western metalcore bands have this exact formula as well? Like hardcore metal verses + melodic clean singing for the choruses.

So who were Wrath and Sloth? What I'm thinking is that Ruki is Wrath (As the character that wears a hoodie and drags the Pride girl) and those bandaged twins smoking hookah are Sloth (Because they just stand still doing nothing).
0:40 hookah dudes respresent Sloth. Ruki is Wrath for sure.
In my opinion GazettE is the one who really represents the Wrath. Since in itself the song is the one that speaks of anger, that is, they express it. Finally, they represent the fifth capital sin: The Wrath. Also I like the idea that Wrath is Ruki... I don't know...

Damnit, today is Reita's birthday (yesterday, in Japan). I wish you a happy birthday and I hope you are doing well, wherever it is you might be. I wish all the members and Reita's family and friends fond memories.
Back in 2007 it was my first Jrock band, still remeber those feelings. Whole new chapter started. Even tho, like many of us fans out there, I was alone with my love for them at that time. It helped me out quite a lot. I'm happy to see that they continue their work. For me, now its more about nostalgy. But surely for someone else it will be new discovery and passion. This thought makes me happy. Thank you Gazatte. Hope to see them live once.
I feel the exact same way. I started listening to them about 12 years ago when I was in middle school. Not many other people even know about jrock, let alone the GazettE. I'm so blessed that I finally have an opportunity to see them live AND meet them after all this time. They are, hands down, my favorite jrock band of all time. I hope you can see them live sometime too!
Me too. I was a fan way back 2006, visual kei jrock greatly influenced me during those times. Sadly, it's very very rare for me to find someone who could relate to my music taste. Now im back listening to them again and im glad they're still active. Though i could say i love their older songs. But their artistic visual aesthetic remains the same.

Yeah same my parents say the music I listen to is "to fast" and "loud" and "mostly" in japanese to be honest it really is all that but there from a different generation so I don't think they would understand why I like this stuff or maybe I would just have to find a way to explain it to them...
saame, but in 2011, tbh because they played a black butler opening, but it opened such a world of style and music experimentation for me. I was already into rock/ a little bit of darker stuff but this was the trigger so to say

He vuelto aquí nuevamente por la inesperada noticia de nuestro querido Reita, mi bajista favorito, realmente esto me hace ponerme altamente nostálgica, tan solo de recordar lo tan feliz que me hacía verlo solo e incluso con los chicos, ellos han sido una parte muy importante en mi vida aún y si no los he llegado a conocer en persona, ellos han estado en momentos muy difíciles para mí y el ver esto es tan doloroso, ver que una persona especial para ti ya no está, pero también es lindo saber que aún así ha dejado mucho para nosotros y podremos recordarlo. ガゼット聴くのは10年ぶりくらいですが、変わりぶりに僕も驚きました。ノクブラの影響があるのでしょうか。
Redのリリース辺りから音源のmixも方向性も確立されつつあってどんどんかっこよくなってますよ！アルバムDIMから低音に対するこだわりやタテを合わせる時のコア感でてきたと思いますが、いまのthe GazettEの雰囲気はVORTEXあたりから確立されてきていますよね。今のthe GazettEめちゃくちゃ好きですけど個人的にはhyenaみたいな曲がまた出てきてくれたらより嬉しいと思うこの頃です。
