JJ's Blues/Broken Dream (from Friday the 13th Part 8) - Guitar Cover, D Tuning - First on YouTube

This was definitely an interesting one. I've never done a song with a lot of bending before. This was also the first time I've done an 80's song. This feels so out of place on my channel, but I had fun with it. I found a mashup that someone made of this, so I kind of used that as a point of reference. The editing on it was pretty bad, so I had to chop it up quite a bit so that way it would transition like an actual song. I'd say my ear is slowly improving. Aside from some bass parts that I missed and one section in Broken Dream, I feel it's pretty close. What's interesting is the first Friday the 13th cover I did, it was also in D tuning. I do a lot of songs in drop C, so having to change tunings is a hassle sometimes. Also this was the first time I properly intonated my guitar, so I didn't really want to have to redo that as well. Overall I enjoyed this one.
