The fact that how he apologised after for how he did not ask before sing as sudden is just so much respect and could see how the actress also enjoyed this incident ❤🎉
It's so sweet he went to apologise, because while he was right to take the opportunity in the end as it made everyone happy, it's good that he still recognise he wasn't planned and it might have been a problem for the production!
This was an encore, i think, so it wasn't during the play. When she says "oh grazie" she is normally supposed to say "mi amore" because the song is written as a woman hearing a strange man sing and falling in love with him. I just love how this turn of events actually embodies the spirit of the song. Also, to jump in and sing OPERA with a cold throat takes BALLS
I believe this point in the story of the opera the lady is singing and a guy walks past her window and sings to her. She’s surprised to here another voice and continues singing. That’s why I love this so much more because of how it played into the actual story and the singers emotions were so genuine.
Even still, I don't think it was appropriate at all 😂 But I m glad the singer didn't seem to mind and that she wasn't upset, but this could've ended poorly for him if she wasn't so into it😂😂
@@heehoopeanut420I have seen this video before and they said at that time that she was doing some encores after the main performance so woman who would normally sing that part wasn’t present and the audience member decided to join in. Because it wasn’t actually part of the official performance it was fine and everyone enjoyed it
I think just with any genre of music and film, you just need to find the one that's right for you. Like I'm an action movie nut and avoid drama films, but in opera form, tragedy is my jam. 😂
As a former opera singer in the children’s chorus seeing people appreciate opera is just so heartwarming. I sang opera from age 7 until 17. One of the many things that made myself proud.
This aria often gets sung as a solo. In the opera the tenor is offstage - the piano is playing the melody which the tenor sings, so it was intentional that there wasn’t a tenor there
@@twastea She's saying that her thoughts will always fly to new delights. He responds that love is the heartbeat of the whole universe, mysterious, fierce, torment and delight of his heart. Also, in the original she is supposed to respond while he sings his part; first with "oh", like she did, but then with "oh, amore" (oh love). She said "oh grazie" (oh thank you) which makes sense because of the context.
What an absolutely precious, perfect, beautiful moment! I guarantee she was not offended by his singing in the least! You can see her joy and pleasure at this unexpected but wonderful addition to her performance!
That looks like it meant so much to her. And for him a true gentleman with high respect. Props to that man for the assistance. Hope she has a good career.
Why Liu and Lisette sound like a great duo name. Liu was great and I hope he finish his study well and join the opera soon so maybe he can collab again with Lisette.
I have no idea where this came from or how it got into my feed. I can’t say I’ve ever been an opera fan or really even heard it before but something about it made me tear up a bit. The dudes voice sounds so sad and beautiful at the same time. Very cool
Respect to the cameraman who knew the song too!! Love to see opera lovers! ♡
My thoughts exactly.
It’s a quite well know piece in opera, so I wouldn’t be surprised!
Don't film performances like this though. It's annoying for the people around you and you yourself are not able to enjoy the performance fully.
I heard that this was an encore so probably not as big of a deal.
@@A.J.456Isn't it illegal? 😅 But I did liked it.

I think the "oh grazie" was literally the "ahw, thank you"…

Same reaction I had looking at 11k likes and comment 😂.
The way she musically went oOoOoO
Yes!! I love how her face lit up when she looked at him after he started singing! Amazing
Even the cameraman was joining in and actually can sing
Yeah that was annoying.
I thought it that was cute too

For sure! I mean it could have easily gone sideways but that it didn't shows both have a good character and really share a passion for music

Ohhhh. Thank you. I was wondering why there wasn't a tenor on stage.
Thank you!! I was a bit lost
The comedy of the last sentence of your otherwise cultured and polite comment, perfect.
she said "thank you" in opera lol
so... italian?

That's actually quite chivalrous of him, not leaving the lady standing there alone.
I absolutely agree!!
And that's how a proper lady reacts.. with such gratitude.. ❤
@@PeanutButterCoffeeBreadits not a gender thing, this is common decency
It's a concert..if the tenor was supposed to sing they would have sung. This is the equivalent to heckling at a comedy show. Still beautiful though.

It did!
She was so thrilled he jumped in. She was determined to spot the gentleman. I hope they keep in touch as good friends. ❤
This is only acceptable because he knew the piece and was a classically trained singer. Nobody else should do this
