I'm a 4/4 death metal drummer who has spent 20 years trying to get faster while abandoning every other aspect of drumming. Now, I've been trying to learn to play comfortably in different time signatures. This video was a huge help.
Great job .... you make me wanna sit down behind my kit and try to learn this tune .... and that's just what I'm gonna do. Thanks for performing it and sharing.
I've been playing this song for a week now. Thanks for the helpful fills. I've got a way of playing it but I see it more clearly now. Keep rocking on! Sounds great!
So I count the intro as like 3/8 for 3 measures, then 4/8 for 1 measure, then 3/8 for 4 measures, then 4/8 for 1 measure. Seems overly complicated. Is there a better way?
