I really hope Steve has a big role in Quentin's next film. In fact, let his 10th and final film have every big name from every Tarantino movie ever, like a big reunion. Also, make it 5 hours long.
That was basically The Hateful 8
@@theguywhoisaustralian1465 It didn't have all the usual Tarantino suspects, though. I'm talking about EVERYONE.
Yes I need a new Michael Madsen movie
Hell yeah, every one: Madsen, Roth, Buscemi, Russell, L. Jackson, Dicaprio, Keitel, Pitt, Thurman, Willis, Bell, Waltz, Laurent... everyone.
Agree
Two of the most underrated and underused actors is Hollywood.
both are highly regarded and they appear in tons of movies. Please look up definition of 'underrated'.
Buscemi has had been in a lot of big movies and even starred in Boardwalk Empire which is a big deal and Roth starred in Lie to Me which was a network TV show.
Roth maybe, but Buscemi isn't underrated
Buscemi is in nearly every decent movie of the 90's, since he's been in Sopranos AND Boardwalk, chatting nonsense
@@starwarsroo2448 Fargo
Harvey Keitel played a huge part in getting this film up and running by attaching his name to the project.
he also gave his car for the shooting
@@sameerahmed-gx8js I think Michael madden did too
@@weewoo6546its Madsen, not madden.
Quite true !
Tim Roth is a great actor, maybe a little under appreciated.
They both are.
If you haven't already, watch the video about him training for his sword fight with Liam Neeson, in Rob Roy. One of the most realistic ever put to screen.
Tim Roth is an awful actor
@@MikeD32784 why???
@@MikeD32784 Silly boy.
The more you read about Steve’s life outside of acting you appreciate how great he really is. Former fireman he got out his equipment and joined in on 911. Not for the praise or press-just because he’s That kind of guy. Massive respect!
"Got out his equipment and joined in on 911"
He took out his cock and hijacked a plane???
Indeed! A class act all the way!
the audible freakout when he said Harvey, lol that name is just bad luck from now on 😝
Literally every favorite actor worked with Harvey at one point. I don’t understand the gasp
I'm gonna name my son Harvey
Time for Hollywood to get started on the Harvey remake. I pick Steve Carrell for the Jimmy Stewart role, who do you pick?
@David McDonald Harvey sounds better tho
That audible freakout really showed how narrow-minded people generally are.
No joke, the way they were talking about Harvey Keitel, I rushed to Wikipedia to make sure he hadn’t passed away😅
so did I! scared the hell out of me "he had a deep line to him, I loved him for that" wtf tim 😂
He was just in the Irishman
Such an underrated icon!
@@Feddzzz Then again, he's got like 2 minutes of screen time, so about 0.00072% of the whole movie. So it's not surprising that people forget he's in there
@@Reb3nga Charlie I’m gonna pay him next week, I’m gonna pay him!
*Tim Roth played the most realistic gunshot victim in movie history*
For real!! XD
Tarantino hired a real doctor to find out how much the character could bleed, and how long he could stay alive with such a serious injury
I saw that scene when i was 11 cant get all that blood out of my head lol
I have never watch an interview of Steve Buscemi and he seems so genuinely sweet
He used to be a New York firefighter. I never heard anything bad about the guy. Im sure he's easy to get along with.
He is certainly that type of guy who'd leave tips
Audience thought they were talking about Weinstein, who didn't produce Reservoir Dogs!
honestly i did too and it's been awhile since i last watched it so i forgot about that too.
Morons 🙄
You must have a crystal ball or something
my name is nah just common sense
@@imemberberry plus Harvey Keitel was a Producer on Reservoir Dogs, which is the film they were talking about.
Me and Harvey drove over to that house and he kept saying " we're gonna be okaayyy, we're gonna be okayyyy"
“Say the gd f-in words! We’re gonna be okaayyy.”
Hahaha

@@nebby1988 what lol
@@starwarsroo2448 got vietnam flashbacks-
Tim Roth directed The War Zone, a brilliant and soul crushing drama film about abuse and guilt, which was also his first film as director. Roth is just brilliant.
Buscemi and Roth... two of my favourite actors, not just Reservoir Dogs, long before that. I met Roth in a pub in Camberwell London in 1986, shortly after he was the main character in 'Made in Britain'.. I was surprised, such a nice guy
You do realise "Made in Britain" was shot in 1981 and released in 82, right ?
Two legends yet both very underrated IMO.
I see Tim Roth is still in character.
The audience thought he meant Weinstein lmao
OHHHHHHHHH...that explains that reaction. i was so confused but haaha that is funny now
They probably weren’t thinking of the deadly hurricane that hit Texas. 😛
Harvey Keitel is pretty much the reason Reservoir Dogs got made
So did I.
I mean at this point the name Harvey should come with a trigger warning 😂
To this day, Reservoir Dogs is still my favorite Tarantino film. Being very similar in structure, the Hateful Eight comes in a close second for me. I love the focus, in both films, on a single setpiece, with heavy, intensive characterization and dialogue. A close third after those movies is Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, which I think many people largely misunderstood, and think it will be better appreciated within his filmography as time goes on. Especially by true cinema buffs.
Same
Mine too ❤
Inglorious basterds
These two are awesome (especially, Buscemi). Reservoir Dogs is, to this day, my favorite Tarantino film, mainly because of them.
The fact that's Quentin FIRST movie speaks volumes.
Well, technically it wasn't his first... just first directing. He actually first wrote True Romance, a brilliant film just like this one :)
@@JustNess78 the actor said his first...it IS HIS first and part of his TEN he's doing before he retires. And btw true romance is a year after reservoir dogs.
True Romance is Tony Scott's film
@@august6389 thank you!
For me Pulp fiction is his best
“I don’t believe in tipping”. Classic.
The audience must have thought they were talking about Harvey Klinger, the bug enthusiast that Marcia had a crush on in that one Brady Bunch episode.
Steve Buscemi seems like a really nice chap 👍
Yes, he must be. I read that he was a firefighter first responder at 9/11
@@catwoman2329 Steve was with the FDNY in Brooklyn in the 80's and left when his acting career took off. He then volunteered to help his old house at Ground Zero. An awesome man.
Todd Gordon I wonder if that had anything to do with why his throat sounds raspy now.
Steve 🚌cemi
I really like this movie. There’s something so magical about re watching Quentin’s very first movie. “Directed by Quentin Tarantino” and history was made.
Could watch this for hours, 3minutes is not enough
Mr Pink and Mr Orange.
I dont tip.
They were both brilliant in Reservoir Dogs, but I think orange edges out pink for best performance
Sherlock H. And S. Holmes
To this day whenever I hear ‘stuck in the middle with you’ I imitate Mr Blonde’s dance
@@danielhoffman4741 That was an iconic scene for sure.
I could listen to these two telling stories about the making of resdogs forever 😍
It would be hard to overstate the importance of Reservoir Dogs and the brilliant acting / dialogue / directing. It is endlessly rewatchable and reveals something new every single time.
Tim Roth in Rob Roy plays one of the best villains I've ever seen. He should of won an oscar for that role.
Paul Espinoza I totally loved his character in that film. He’s an underrated actor for sure.
I agree the movie without him would be an average film he was the perfect antagonist
Check out Tim Roth in a move called The legend of 1900. Great great movie.
Steve Buscemi and Tim Roth. Immediate thumbs up before the video even starts.
I always remember Tim Roth in The Legend of 1900, awesome movie.
James would not be invited to that dinner party.
Yup, because he'd eat all the pies ......
Unless they all wanted a suck ass there.
Loved Tim Roth in lie to me. I wish they would bring that show back.
Can people stop asking the question “did you know that this (insert name) was going big be as big as it is today”.
Captain someone Agreed, it’s so lazy and it usually leads to the same answer.
i would answer that with "yes i did, i can see the future that's why i wanted to do that movie, what do you think?"
And also - we get it - you're a big fan, a huge fan, you've seen all his/her movies, oh my god, you're amazing, etc.
It’s because Corden, like Fallon, lacks depth. They’re both boring, useless, twats with nothing interesting to say.
Honestly, whoever wrote the questions for this interview sucks at their job. "Where did you first meet?" Seriously? Who cares, why does that matter at all?? "Did you know the movie was going to be special". One of the most boring, lazy, overused questions ever.
0:38 Steve Buscemi and Tim Roth are so cool duo.
"You Mr. Pink.", "You Mr. Orange." My twenties is in "Reservoir Dogs".
(Japanese actor, Jo Odagiri is similar to Buscemi, and Masahiko Nishimura is to Roth.)
These two together. Magic moments in cinema history
remeber seeing Tim Roth in Made in britain when I was 12 and being blown away by him

I love these two, I love “Reservoir Dogs” and I love Tarantino!
Steve Buscemi seems nice. I bet he's the kind of guy to leave a tip.
Why are actors who play villians often the nicest people in real life?
Love both of them. Amazing actors.
Imagine making your 1st film with a cast like this!

I appreciate that Corden is so open with his admiration of many of his guests. That is refreshing.
I think it's a bit icky - but that just goes to show, you can't please everyone! :)
He’s a huge kiss ass and seem fake.
Steve buscemi is very professional.
25 years later, and Reservoir dogs has aged well, without them, Quentin wouldn't have made the film, so this movie was just the beginning for later Tarantino obtained Palm D'or at Cannes film festival.
I always feel like the key to it having aged so well is the timeless nature of the f**ked-up-heist-plan scenario AND how low-budget the film could be based on the script. I mean, you could essentially play this out as a minimal-props play on a small stage (pretty sure it's been done too, for obvious reasons). The black-and-white for the matching suits, the obscure but killer retro soundtrack... it had basic yet iconic written all over it.
@@dontbefatuousjeffrey2494Michael Fassbender said he did it as a stage play in high school.

These two guys are so badass! Steve Buschemi is so funny when he wants to be. Michael Madsen is another great one without whom you couldn't make this movie! This is one of those movies people like to own because it's got so many classic scenes.
It was cool hearing these guys reminisce about reservoir dogs. I used to live in California, LA. I mean live-in caregiver by trade so had some clients in that area. I loved exploring all of LA and I know exactly what he's talking about. For those that aren't aware sunset boulevard outside of being the strip and having some famous areas It's long. A quick Google search shows sunset boulevard total lengths of 23.6 mi. It goes all the way from Pacific Coast highway\Highway 1 to downtown LA going through Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly hills, and Bel Air before going down into Malibu. On a good day with no traffic light traffic it would take at least 45 minutes to an hour to do the whole stretch double that time frame if not more with traffic. Sunset Boulevard roughly traces the arc of mountains that form part of the northern boundary of the Los Angeles Basin, following the path of a 1780s cattle trail from the Pueblo de Los Angeles to the ocean.
Steve Buscemi as Nucky Thompson. Absolutley brilliant. Dosent do enough stuff imo.
Tim Roth did a nice accent in Reservoir dogs. Very great actor like Steve Buscemi
Two wonderful actors.
Steve buscemi voice is so fkin iconic that I can remember him with blind eyes.❤
I wanted to watch a Movie at home with my mom on Christmas cuz we were snowed in…someone recommended ‘reservoir dogs’ and what a surprise that was! Awesome movie!!!!
I could listen to their stories for hours...😎
It would be great if you could get some sort of a RD reunion panel at one of the Comic Con type of conventions whether if its the SDCC or just one of the New York or Chicago CC's with Quentin, Roth, Buscemi, Keitel and Madsen.
Reservoir Dogs was one of the best collection of character actors, much like The Thing and The Ninth Configuration 👍👍
why is it so hot when he says calm down
Roth is a gem. Very sorry for his loss.
"I've never seen such confidence come out of a first time director"
It's one hell of a drug
Tim Roth... goddamn underrated as fuck!!! And steve...how does this man doesnt get so much more recognition (how sway!) He even met Con Air a better movie!and that's saying something!
Buscemi has become so handsome and distinguished looking
What a great chat ! I didn’t know it was Tarantino’s directorial debut. It cracked me up when he said Tarantino was excited, isn’t he always ?? 💐 🐨
Pretty much lol
Tim Roth...the love of my life
"Shit, orange got tagged?!"
Reservoir Dogs is my favourite Tarantino film, along with Kill Bill vol 2.
Both these guys are so fantastic in the film, & Keitel too.
Two of the coolest cats in acting throw in gary oldman harvey keitel and michael madsen.you have my all time greats 👍
Amazing movie. One of my all time favourites
I met Tim Roth at Pinocchio’s in Altadena, Ca where he would go every week to support his daughter who was an aspiring singer. She would do an open mike there. I was surprised at how nice and down to earth he was.
Tarantino's best film, it still is.
Tim Roth....way way too underrated.
Tim was like "hold on different Harvey"
Tim Roth 😍😍😍
Man i love Steve Buscemi what a legend
"Calm down!" I love Tim 🤣
Tim is so cool
First time I saw Roth act was in a British movie called "Made in Britain". He was only about 16, but everyone could see he was destined to make it big. Great movie, great acting.
His character was 16 Tim was 21-22 i guess...
Reservoir Dogs is Tarantino's ultimate masterpiece, in my opinion.
Okay, so, I remember seeing a vhs preview trailer for Reservoir Dogs on another vhs cassette rental in like, 1992-93, and thinking, whoa, this looks incredible!! I MUST see this!! As soon as I located it at my local video store, I rented it, and was blown away!!! Been a Tarantino fan ever since!! Reservoir Dogs is probably still my favorite Tarantino film, and I’ve seen them all!!
Old dogs. Joke aside, great actors for an unforgettable movie... 🎦😎❤️✌️👴
When James is talking to Steve Buscemi from 0:29 onwards, you can see him constantly glancing over his shoulder reading his lines off the TV behind him.
Legends
Quentin being Quentin since day 1.
James: So when did you guys first meet?
Steve: Wasn't it at Harvey's house?
*audience gasps
Tim: Yea, Harvey Keital..
*audience sighs in relief
I love the idea of Mr Pink getting some guys together to do a heist.
One of my favorite films
Audience laughed awkwardly because they thought Buscemi was talking about Harvey Weinstein.
hahaha wow the audience totally thought he meant Harvey Weinstein
Reservoir dogs changed my life
Steve Buscemi
😍😍😍
2 legends and a charlatan
Reservoir Dogs is an incredible film. Inspired by Chow Yun Fat's crime movie City on Fire 1987.
Que hermoso que esta Tim Roth. Ese hombre no cambia nada❤❤❤
Roth needs to be in way more movies
Quentin is special
Tim Roth turning into Christoph Waltz
Even after they Made it clear they were talking about Harvey Keitel the audience thought they were talking about Harvey Weinstein the whole time
Terrible host- equally awful audience.
Eres un actor excepcional e irrepetible tu expontaniedad en la escena te hace especial te amo...Disfruto tu actuación. Te nesecitamos......No te acuerdas de Cuba ...????
Going to watch Reservoir Dogs again tonight 😁👍
I NEED SO MUCH MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve used to be a firefighter in NYC. After the 9/11 attacks happened, he worked 24 hour shifts during the day of the attacks and a week after the attacks at his old department. He never said a word about it, because he felt like that was his duty. McGhee always caught wind of it and exploded it, but he didn’t want to exploit it for personal gain. He’s a humble and gentle soul. It’s a shame that it gets murdered in all his movies. Lmao. 🤣🤣🤣
