Amtrak Capitol Limited P029 exits Point of Rocks tunnel westbound as CSX K677 empty ethanol tank train follows on the outside.
Amtrak locomotives: AMTK 131(GE P42DC) & AMTK 181(GE P42DC).
K677 locomotives: CN 5712(EMD SD75I), CN 2126(GE C40-8 Ex-UP, Ex-CNW), & CN 2231(GE ES44DC {EF-644j}).

So that tunnel is just a short tunnel from the lighting on the coaches as it rounds the curve inside. I thought it was a real long one. That's the other end of the tunnel away from the highway bridge on the opposite side.

I know nothing about trains but I read that engineers have their own subdivisions they work on. CN is a Canadian company. So, did CSX lease these CN trains out or is it on of those special occasions where a CN train happens to be on CSX territory? And if so, why are there these trains around here? Is the CN crew on a special assignment?
