those buttons control an onboard computer that makes this the most baddest ass machine on the road !!! this bike forces you to be a better rider.it does what you tell it to do!! i had an 05 zx12r tthat was a torque monster , but was a pig in the conners then i got a 08 r1 that was a dream in the conners but the power is like a light switch. this is the combining of the two!! im getting one !!!!!!!!!

@xNzzyz Yes it is the 2011 with the SE colour scheme (because Max Biaggi won the WSB championship) and with the new APRC electronics, those were not on the 2010 bike.
@nuttingbounce I guess i figured it out, the button in the front 02:32 is probably to activate autoshifter (or whatever the name is, i think its to shift up without the use of clutch) and the one in the back 03:32 probably to deactivate it. :)

I've ridden one myself. So visceral and responsive and if it's not as fast as some of the new rivals in a straight line, YOU'D NEVER CARE. It's engaging and exciting in a way inline fours with generic frames will never be. I have three inline fours with about 200hp (one with more like 220 on U4.4) and I'd trade all three for one of these. I'd keep the carbon wheels, though. :)
I think that sound comes when the bike is slowing down or when brakes are applied, that jet like sound occurs more number of times ahead when the bike is slowing down.
@acat46 my friend appointed that it was because he was driving with soft compound tires, as i said pushes it to the limit, and rides with low(er) tire pressure
It has to do with the rider really pointing out that he can fully ride it on the limit with the APRC, because of all the electronics. They really want to show that, otherwise why bother with the more expensive APRC kit. He goes full throttle out of the corner and the traction control adjusts. That's why it looks wobbly. When he fully brakes it is the same; then the ABS adjust and it looks a bit wobbly. Same on my S1000RR.
Is it my impression or the driver only uses the clutch to shift down gears and never to shift them up? Why is that, its because its faster or just not needed?
I wondered who those people were by the side of the track when I was scrubbing in my tyres. Bloody camera men could have waited for me to get upto speed! ......
@hahaahahahaahaha ooo.. i see.. its a good thing that he pushed it to the limit.. the bike need more tuning.. i'm no expert but we all want our bike/cars to be safe when we put the paddle to the metal..
I think it sucks that this is the bike of year. All they cared about was the electronics of the machine. It had less power than both the bmw and the ninja, the slowest lap times of the 2 and yet its bike of the year cause of electronics? man please lol. Bike don't look good either. The older one was way better to me.

@acat46 don't worry about it, it's safe. it's just the impurities in the tarmac that causes it to be a little wobbly
@DR1ZERO the bike has a quick shifter on it so u dont need to close the throttle (all bikes change up gear without the clutch)
