Best ever JAIPUR Food TOUR I Kachori (Aloo, Heeng, Dal) Kesar Pista Makhan + Dal Pakwan + Gulab Chai

- The historical lanes and streets of Jaipur are imbued with imprints of gastronomic glory. On this food tour, we are visiting some of the iconic street food places in the Old city which entail fascinating
legacy. The first stop was Gulab Chai Wale. This small shop is a hit with chai lovers from all walks of life. On our host Vinayak’s recommendation we tried the bun maska and masala chai combo.
The second stop was Shree Shyam Dal Pakwan Center where we tried the famous Sindhi dish called dal pakwan with mirchi ke tapore. The dal mixed with chutneys and spices was quite delicious and zesty.
The third stop was Sampat Kachori Bhandar whose potato masala stuffed kachori are the talk of the town. Contrary to our anticipation, the masala was quite mild and flavoursome. This was followed by two remarkable hing kachori from two renowned places named Sampat Kachori Bhandar and Puran Kachori Bhandar. At the first place it was served with yogurt while at the second it was served a spicy green chutney.
The penultimate stop was Gulab Chand Dairy where we tried a unique dessert called kesar pista makhan. This inhouse pistachio and saffron flavoured butter was simply divine. The last stop of this tour was Bhawar Lal Kailash Chand Halwai which is an over a century old establishment. Here we had moongthal and gulab kesari. Both these sweets were masterpieces because of their incredible taste and forms.

The first sweet that we had tried at Bhawar Lal Kailash Chand Halwai was Mohanthal and not Moongthal as mentioned in the video.
Sir it's called Mohanthal in Hindi Language but in jaipur's local Language, it's known as Moongthal.

Sir you should Try Ghatgate's Kachori, it's a very old shop and you can see always rush there. It's very famous in whole jaipur.

Amazing ....Rajasthan is the most beautiful state of India...food surely not restricted to Lal Maans or Kair Sangri....be it LMB ke Samosa or Rawat ki Pyaaz/Mava ki kachauri...
Lol nobody even know about lal mass in jaipur. Rajasthanis in general are predominantly vegetarian.
Also rawat pyaz kachori is super overatted. The owner attitude is really bad.
@@sumeet3773 yes rajasthan has highest percentage of vegetarians among all states. In rajasthan, a license is necessary if u want a open a butcher/meat shop.

We live in Kolkata but our family is eating snacks from Sampat for last 30 years. Whenever any family member visits Jaipur bringing snacks from there is a must

Don't want to spread any kind of hate or negativity. But I want to share my experience with Gulab Ji Chai. I tried their Chai and Bun Samosa. Chai was plain...No Elaichi No Adrak... nothing like that. It was tasteless. It's funny because even my college canteen make Chai better than theirs. Also Bun Samosa was very average and cold. That was my experience. I love your content BTW ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Anubhav, I have been your subscriber for a long time, but this is my first comment here. Am 53 years old, schooled at Ajmer (my nanihaal). Have been to Jaipur, infinite number of times. For me, food at Jaipur, those days was LMB (Laxmi Misthan Bhandar), do not know what their quality is now. After 32 years, I had the opportunity of having 'pyaj kachori' from Rawat Misthan Bhandar - believe me, same taste. The Mawa Kachori and Pyaj Kachori of Rawat is just epic.
I am a Pakistani by origin, but am settled in USA (42 years). All of my relatives from my father side decided to stay in India after partition, and most live in UP ( Muzafarnagar, Khatoli, Muradabad, Bombay, now Mumbai, Nagpur, and Hyderabad Deccan). The relationship became terse after the BJP Government came to power. It is utmost difficult to get a VISA of India, if a person applied from here in USA, and if his original background is from Pakistan. I wish, hope and pray for a better relationship between the two countries. Anubhav ( spare me if I committed mistake in spelling the name incorrectly) presents great episodes every time, and I admired him when he and ZIA TABARAK from Pakistan jointly presented a program part of which was telecasted from India and part from Pakistan. The sweet you had at Bhanwarlal Halwai is called Mohanthal and not Moongthal, its very common in Gujarat and parts of Rajasthan.
