Archaeologist here. The answer to your pyramid question is we don't know exactly, but it probably involved hoisting the blocks or rolling them up ramps. We do know the workforce was up to 40,000 people strong and the blocks get smaller as it gets higher. They've experimentally quarried the same stone in experiments and cutting it takes less time than expected, and then they were floated down the river to the build site.
Pyramidologist here. You're correct in your assessment. EXCEPT..... it was aliens, History Channel told me so.

Are you familiar with the bed time stories channel? They also have awesome/strange stories that are illustrated.
I dislike that in so many "documentaries," they underestimate the intelligence of ancient humans. If only the Library of Alexandria wasn't burned, we might have documents that explain a lot of ancient mysteries.
Don't leave your kids alone. Especially that young. No matter where you are in the world, leaving your kids alone while you have fun is a bad idea. The parents are definitely crazy

Concerning the pyramids, I think people now only assume the ancient Egyptians didn’t have the technology to build the pyramids. Clearly they had some method. There are ways to move extremely heavy objects without modern machinery. Also, the peoples of the past were a LOT smarter than modern people tend to give them credit for. Studying history and cataloging 17th, 18th and 19th century scientific pamphlets for my job showed me that.
There is also, quite frankly, a certain racist element to these theories. No one ever claims that aliens built Notre Dame Cathedral, or the Empire State Building. No, it's only brown and black people who supposedly needed extraterrestrial assistance to get anything done.
They just found old channels of the river Nile that passed within a short distance of the location of the pyramids. That’s how they delivered the blocks. There is a wealth of information on the gangs that worked and moved the stone, including work absence listings, gang names and the duties of each of those gangs. It’s pretty clear to anyone who wants to seriously look into it that humans built it. Honestly, it’s an insult to suggest anything else.

The McCann's were just stupid! You don't leave your kids alone in a motel room to go eat and drink. What if there was an accident or they got hurt, no way to tell since Mom and Dad chose to leave! You don't leave your kids. Either don't go out or eat in your room or get a trusted babysitter. Beyond negligent on them.

Hi Kabir, leaving three kids 4 and younger by themselves in a hotel room is asking for trouble! Four year olds aren't exactly known for having great judgement. As for the Malaysian airliner disappearing, from what I've heard about that country's airlines it doesn't seem to be a singular event.
There's also a town named "Intercourse". Pennsylvania was founded by Quakers. Some of the unusual place names may have been religious references [ i.e. Intercourse can also mean "Fellowship" and "Community Interaction" ]. Remember Inspector Morse ? His parents were Quakers and they named him "Endeavor".
I think Inspector Endeavour Morse's Mother was a Quaker, but I think - perhaps(?) his Father was a "betting man", so perhaps _not_ also a Quaker? His stepmother didn't seem to like him much and there was quite a bit of tension between them, as I understand his story...? (Also, his niece fell victim to a doctor's "strange drug", which created paranoia in young people...

(a Liverpudlian, who _mostly_ managed to disguise his 'natural' accent for "Endeavour" - and portrayed him very well too, imo).
There are other towns in Pennsylvania with amusing names. You can buy a bumper sticker in Intercourse naming three of them, reading "Intercourse is located halfway between Blue Ball and Paradise."

From what I've read online they will be starting a new search soon for flight MH370. Hopefully they can give the families closure.

If you escape N. Korea, the government will kill the next 3 generations of your family. That's according to Yeonmi Park who escaped N. Korea and lives in NYC. Her story is heart breaking. If you want to know what she went through she has a UA-cam channel, THE VOICE OF NORTH KOREA. It's really an interesting story and she tells what life is like there.
I think our planet has been inhabited several times by us humans. I think we grow in population and technology to the point we destroy ourselves with just a few survivors. Then repopulate and technology becomes strong again, then destroy ourselves again. We keep repeating the same mistakes over and over.

The twins _slept through all of the fuss_ of their parents and their friends, then (belatedly), the Portuguese Police, investigating the appartment, on discovering Madeleine missing... Madeleine's alleged 'favourite soft toy'
("Cuddle Cat") was found on Maddie's empty bed ...and her mother Kate McCann washed it, removing any possible DNA, or trace of any alleged abductor... Why wash the toy which was the last toy cuddled by a missing child,which would surely have her scent on it, and be their only link to her...
Whilst her parents (both doctors) spent every evening having dinner with their friends...(who have become known as "The Tapas Seven/ The Tapas Nine")
...and who have contributed _varying stories_ to cover the actions of Catholic's Kate (a Liverpudlian) & Gerry (a Scot or Northern Irish, I dont recall which, sorry) McCann - parents of Madeleine & the younger twins (a girl and a boy') across the other side of the holiday resort, in *Praia de Luz , in Portugal.

I would suggest, _if_ you're interested in their case, to watch videos by South African (?) a very good author and investigator, Nick Van de Leek, of video channel: True Crime Rocket Science (TCRS) Nick also works on the 'JonBenet Ramsay case' of a six-year old murdered American girl, her father John Ramsay, her (now) late mother Patsy Ramsay and their ('strange') son, Burke, (who was nine years old when his little sister was found dead in the cellar of their house inBoulder, Colarado, at Christmas in - I _think_ - 1996?).
Nobody has been charged for poor *JonBenet's death.

It's a fascinating, if somewhat chilling, but very strange story.
The little boy that disappeared from school..the second I saw the stepmother I said “she did it”. Something’s off with her.
Kyron Horman was his name. That stepmother moved out of state and had to petition the court to allow a name change. So she is out in the wind now and no one knows where she is either. Karma will have it's way. Be careful of your boyfriends, girlfriends, steps and new spouses. They don't love them the way you do.
Yes - her facial expressions aren't right. She looks at the door before she says she was waiting for him to walk through it. I think a natural thing would be to look at the door as you say it , whereas she looked first - as if she was thinking of what to say before saying it. Microexpressions say a lot and why we feel something is "off" without quite putting a finger on it. Just my thoughts - it seemed odd.

Aliens and pyramids: you have to understand just how incredibly advanced an alien culture would have to be to even accomplish interstellar travel in the first place, and then ask yourself why in the world would such an unbelievably advanced culture come to Earth and build pyramids in the desert? It's such a childish idea.

I saw a video in which they talked about the Malaysia air plane. I think they discovered the pilot was the one that decided to crash the plane.

I remember Carl Sagan voiced an interesting possibility on the original Cosmos TV series back in the early 80s, namely, what if we are the most advanced species in the entire universe? After all, *somebody* has to come first. Why not us?

18:00 Again, WatchMojo can't even get basic facts right. Bird flock deaths happen all the time. During the night the birds become panicked and because they can't see in the dark they fatally smash into trees or each other. In some cases there's no direct known cause of the scare which may not be man made but obviously something scared them.
Pennsylvania has a lot of strange city names. There's Blue Ball, there's Intercourse...

We once had about 20 birds fall into our front yard. They were not shot or anything. Shreveport, Louisiana, USA.

The Cecil Hotel is located in Skid Row. It actually echoes a case in New York. The person kidnapped women and stored them in his building’s water tank on the roof. The person was arrested and was charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, and murder as he accidentally killed a woman.

Most hotels offer a free babysitting service which the parents likely used before going to dinner. Something went wrong.
No they didn’t use one which is why they took turns going back and checking on the kids.
29:05 Madaline McCann and flight MH370 are the only cases which belong on this list. MH370 just screams out hijacking, the plane reverses course 20 minutes before landing? So if it was a hijacking gone wrong why the cover up? The theory goes that a military shot down the plane fearing it would be used as weapon like on 9/11. Even the Prime Misters of New Zealand at the time said this was a coverup as there was no real investigation. The official story is that the pilot committed suicide by flying hours to the middle of nowhere and crashing into the ocean. Apparently everyone on the plane was just fine with this! Even a single terrorist can't force 238 people to do their bidding without at least a gun or a bomb. WTF would the pilot doing this? Because he was a married man having an affair--- no all they proved is he was talking romantically to another woman online, they don't even know who she was so it's impossible to conclude they were having a physical affair. If this a motivation for mass murder than we're all doomed! The fact he had a mistress at least online would be a reason for him to want to live! They claim the two smoking guns are the fact his mistress sent him an unknown text message which they jump to the conclusion was that she was breaking up with him when it may have just been, "I love you" and the pilot having the route of the doomed flight programmed into his home PC which could have been planted. The computer data shows him practicing the flight for two months. So which is it? He was planning this for months or it was a spur of the moment thing caused by his mistresses unknown text message?

20:40 Again this isn't a mystery. She was mentally ill and accidentally killed herself via action which don't make any sense. Cases like this happen all the time. The internet theories that she was literally being chased by a ghost are just plain silly.
