I agree with you . Don't nickel and dime people to death . Just add everything you need and charge for it leaving you the option to use it or not . Well done !
I just grabbed a “Big Rock” at my local hobby shop for an amazing deal. I had $155 from their amazing rewards program and the sale was $40 bucks off so I basically got one for about half price after tax. I can wait to start my build, I have all 6s Arrma’s so this will be the first 3s rig. Awesome video and thanks for all the tips 👍🏼.
I saw that drop as well. It’s tempting!!!! I wish they would have built it on a new plastic chassis design. I’ve bent every aluminum chassis I’ve had. I’ve had to do chassis reinforcement on all of them.
Excellent. I really like the Big Rock for it's wide stance and durability. I have a 3s Granite and it's fine. I would have rather had a BigRock. I like how you let your Son pilot the BigRock over the ramp. He did great. 👍👍
My complaint out the box was the shocks. Only because 10 minutes into my first battery I rolled it pretty good and I bent a front shock rod. Ordered typhon 6s shocks to replace em all
I don’t but here is a good one. I did a little extra trimming to have the mount sit down so the body would be flush like normal. ua-cam.com/video/Xf_mK0D9GZ4/v-deo.html
@@818_Custom_Garage Thanks for the reply and getting my creative juices flowing. I did a little cut down on mine so the body sits level with the step boards. Thanks for the idea! It loos perfect now!
It was just how we were hitting the ramp. It was also pretty slippery out there and traction was low. We will have another video for sure in the future
@@ferdinandmaier1070 it most definitely will if we were better drivers and hit the ramp right…haha. It also breaks a lot of parts on 4s. Mainly the driveshafts. If I were to do it all over again I would leave the 3s system in. Now I’m thinking of just running on 3s and gearing it up a little more since the 4s system will handle the heat better
i really liked how you explained everything and as someone with a limited budget for RC upgrades, I like the suggestions for those who want to keep it 3s stock. That said I'd love to upgrade it to 4s so I can use my 4s batteries lol. and still use my 3s batteries. Do you have a link to a vid of yours showing how to upgrade big rock 3s to 4s? and all the parts needed? Thanks again. I will sub an keep watching cheers

i have a 6s v3 arrma big rock and was wondering what diffs and slipper clutch would be good for it? my slipper went out on the stock one, but not sure what aftermarket slipper clutch can hold 6s thank you
Did it break the slipper clutch aluminum ends or did it burn the clutches up? I would upgrade the diffs to the 4s diffs which use steel gears. On the slipper, I would upgrade to a steel gear. I usually use the Arrma gear and if it cracked the slipper housing then use an Oktays 7075 housing.
@@818_Custom_Garage it burnt the clutch up and started to touch on medal to medal so there’s deep scratches so i was thinking of just replacing the it with a stock slipper clutch and some hot racing pads. but i’m definitely going to check out that oktay slipper clutch and most likely get it
@@818_Custom_Garage also do you prefer a diff company i should buy diffs from i was looking at the hot racing housing and diff metal gears but was also looking at the cnc 4s diff.

Why it didn't manage the backflip? Was there a 2s lipo inside?
