    Great review FAB! I did not know about getting the leather hot before applying dressing.. No shine is better👍🏻😎

      MNpicker Thanks! You don’t have to but it allows the leather to accept the dressing better. Yes no Shine is what I like also.

      @Stephen Sachs I dont have leather in my truck (unfortunately) if I did they'd been cleaned along time ago and covers put over them to preserve and protect my legs in the summer time. Now my little brother has leather In his 2010 Camaro I'll be cleaning his seats here soon. Yall might even see a video from MAYBE.

    Good review! Congrats on the 5.1K subs! I have some of this but haven't tried it yet, I'm thinking about trying it on the dash of my Charger as my dash is too flat looking.

    I used this about 10 years ago with the Adam's Leather Cleaner (suggested by another detailing friend) on a set of black leather seats pulled from a junkyard 94' Saturn. The seats were't turn or damaged, but were dry as a desert from having zero maintenance for years. The products worked great and went a long way to soften the leather back up and make it look much nicer. The only downside (imo) was you didn't seem to get a lot of product for the money, and the conditioner doesn't have a long shelf life. Mine dried up before I could use it all.

    Over 5,300 subs 👍👍 The word is getting out about FAB Automotive Detailing 👌👍 You deserve it buddy. Have you ever tried Magic Eraser on leather seats? I've used them & they work very well. When I apply leather conditioner with the magic eraser it knocks the shine down a little to where I like it.

      IntervalePC Thank you! I have not tried a magic eraser but have heard it works good on leather.

    One of my favorite Adams products. Works well. Dries completely (not greasy). Smells great. Lasts about a month at least. It's not a thick, heavy, goopy lotion type that is of questionable value on today's coated leathers. It doesn't take very much to do a whole crew cab silverado or even a 3 row Traverse. I never plan on using or even trying anything else so long as it stays the way it is, including a reasonable price.

    I thought Adam’s leather conditioner was supposed to have matte finish (no shine)? But watching your video I see it does provide a bit of sheen to the leather. Which conditioner is the best for a matte no sheen finish?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  3 роки тому

      Jidoe Blaster It definitely does leave a sheen. I like Griot’s Garage 3 in 1 Leather cleaner. Cleans and protects with no shine.

    Wouldnt a blow dryer be better to “heat” the leather since it would also remove any remaining moisture from the cleaning?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 років тому +1

      Gogogordy1 Anyway to introduce heat will work. If it’s hot outside I will put the car outside in the sun with the windows up to heat the leather. There are many ways to do it.

    • @brokebuilt4827
      @brokebuilt4827 5 років тому +1

      I once used damp towels that I heated up in the dryer. Worked great and maybe the seats were dirtier than I thought, but it seemed to help the cleaner pull dirt from deep inside the leather.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 років тому +1

      Broke Built Yeah heat is your friend when it comes to leather.

    Great review “SIR” 😝. When I seen MeanBee’s review on it, it looked to shiny too. The only thing I want shiny is my paint 😆. Love Griot’s Leather 3in1.

    Doesn’t all automotive leather, come from the factory with a type of clear coat on it ? I religiously cleaned and moisturized mine and it still cracked .

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 років тому

      gkc booth I’m not sure if they have a clear on them from the factory. Some leather no matter what you do still fades and cracks.
